【1】十大ニュースでわかる今年のソフィア会
Top Ten News Items Spotlighting SUAA's Year

このところ感染者の減少傾向が続いているとはいえ、今年も新型コロナによってソフィア会活動も大幅に制限された1年でした。
そんな中で、ソフィア会Webサイト（ホームページ）へのアクセス数No.1に輝いたのは、ASFのあの大人気企画「ゆる婚」でした。そして、軒並みオンライン開催となったものの、講演会にも着実にアクセスが寄せられました。
また、今年だけに限ったことではないものの「ソフィアンが使える大学の施設」、「ソフィアンズクラブ利用について」などにも多くのアクセスが。こうしたランキングを見ると、"出会いの場"としてのソフィア会への期待が高いことがわかります。かつてのように、対面でさまざまなソフィア会活動ができる日が待たれます。

Although the number of COVID-19 infections has recently continued to decrease, Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) activities were greatly restricted again this year.
Even so, the number one topic attracting SUAA website (homepage) traffic was the extremely popular ASF 'Yurukon' dating event for finding a marriage partner. Although each was held online, lectures also attracted solid access numbers.
As well, categories such as "Facilities Made Available to Graduates" and "Sophians Club Use" had a lot of traffic, however that is not limited to this year. These rankings demonstrate the high expectations SUAA holds as a "place to get together". We look forward to the day when we can hold various SUAA activities face-to-face like we previously did.

【2】ファミリーマート澤田貴司副会長の講演会「やりたいことをやる」―1／26（水）
Lecture by Takashi Sawada, Vice Chairman of FamilyMart 'Doing What You Desire' Held Wednesday, January 26

ソフィア会は上智大学と共催で2022年1月26日（水）18:00から、講演会「経営者に聴く」シリーズとしてファミリーマート澤田貴司副会長の「やりたいことをやる」を対面およびオンラインのハイブリッド形式で開催します。プロ経営者として知られる澤田さんのこれまでの人生の歩み、ファミリーマートでの取り組み、そして働くうえで大切にしていることなど、熱く語っていただきます。
澤田さんは上智大学理工学部物理学科卒業後、1981年に伊藤忠商事に入社。1997年にはファーストリテイリングに移り、翌年、取締役副社長就任。同社のフリースの爆発的なヒットにつながる事業戦略などで注目を集めます。2016年9月にはファミリーマート社長に転じ2021年3月より現職。経営統合したサークルKサンクスのファミリーマートへのブランド転換を指揮し、2年3か月で約5,000店の転換を完遂。現場とのコミュニケーションを重視し、さまざまな改革に取り組んでいます。

SUAA and Sophia University will co-host a lecture entitled 'Doing What You Desire' presented by Takashi Sawada (1981, Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Physics [currently the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences]), Vice Chairman of FamilyMart, in a hybrid face-to-face and online format as part of the Hear From Management Lecture Series at 18:00 on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Takashi Sawada, a profession manager, will enthusiastically talk about his life history, initiatives at FamilyMart, and what he values in his work.
After graduating from Sophia University Takashi Sawada joined ITOCHU Corporation in 1981. He moved to Fast Retailing (Uniqlo) in 1997, and became the Executive Vice President the following year. Among the things at Uniqlo he is renowned for are the business strategies that led to the explosive success of its fleece products. In September 2016, he changed jobs to become President of FamilyMart, a position he has held since March 2021. He led the rebranding of Circle K Sunkus into FamilyMart when the companies merged and completed the conversion of approximately 5,000 stores in two years and three months. He emphasizes communication with frontline staff and is working on various reforms.

Cooperate in the QS Survey with an Eye on Sophia's World University Ranking

今年度も上智大学より、世界大学ランキングのための調査「QS Global Employer Survey」への協力要請がありました。ソフィア会としては、母校が「世界に並び立つ大学」を目指すため本Surveyへ協力することを決め、皆さまご自身のご登録はもとよりご友人・知人の方々の登録をお願いします。


Sophia University has asked us again this year to participate in the annual QS Global Employer Survey, a survey for ranking universities around the world. SUAA has decided to participate in this survey so that our alma mater will be recognized among the world's top universities . We would like to ask you to register yourself and hope your friends and acquaintances will participate as well.
