【1】ASFの、その日に向けて準備を
Preparations for the Day of ASF

今年のオールソフィアンの集い（ASF）は5月26日（日）。まだまだ先のことと思っているかもしれませんが、その日ま でもう100日を切りました。
金谷武明総指揮、豊田圭一実行委員長のもと、すでに実行委員会が組織され、着々と準備が進んでいます。各グループ集会などの準備は進んでいるでしょうか。グループ集会、フリーマーケットの会場申し込みは3月20日までです。また、実行委員も引き続き募集しています。そして、ASF当日には金、ルビー、銀、銅の祝典も行われます。この準備もお願いします。

This year the All Sophians' Festival (ASF 2019) will be held on Sunday, May 26th. That may seem like quite away in the future, but there are already fewer than one hundred days left.
The Executive Committee has already been organized and preparations are progressing steadily under the overall direction of Takeaki Kanaya and Keiichi Toyoda of the Executive Committee.
How are preparations for group gatherings and the like progressing? The deadline for group gathering and flea market applications is Wednesday, March 20th. Additional Executive Committee help is still welcome.
A Gold, Ruby, Silver and Bronze Anniversary Ceremony will also be held. Please also prepare for that.

【2】国内外のソフィア会で相次いで新年会
SUAA New Year's Parties Successively Abroad and in Japan
秋に総会や懇親会などを開くことが多い各種・地域ソフィア会ですが、今年は特に年が改まっての新年会が相次ぎ ました。
国内では、熊本ソフィア会が1月19日、鎌倉ソフィア会が2月2日、函館ソフィア会が2月3日に、また海外では1月19日 にアムステルダムソフィア会とフランクフルト・ソフィア会、そしてデュッセルドルフ・ソフィア会が新年会を開催してい ます。
この中でフランクフルト・ソフィア会とデュッセルドルフ・ソフィア会は同時進行だったため、ビデオ通話を通じてライブ でエール交換。空間を超えて懇親を深めたようです。

Various regional Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) groups often hold general meetings and social gatherings in autumn, but this year in particular, a number of such events were held at the beginning of the year.
New Year's parties were held in Japan by Kumamoto SUAA on January 19th, Kamakura SUAA on February 2nd, and Hakodate SUAA on February 3rd, while New Year's parties were held overseas by Amsterdam SUAA, Frankfurt SUAA, and Dusseldorf SUAA on January 19th.
Since the Frankfurt and Dusseldorf SUAA chapter parties were held at the same time, a live video call enabled them to encourage each other. It seems that distance cannot impede deepening friendships.


【3】法学部同窓会がセミナー「法と実務の最前線」を開催－2/15
Sophia University Law Department Alumni Seminar Held February 15th

法学部同窓会は、独自の活動として「セミナーシリーズ"法と実務の最前線"」を行っています。その第14回目として「 保険法をめぐる最近の動向」（講師：甘利公人上智大学法学部教授）を2月15日（金）に開催、20人以上が参加しました。
同セミナーは法学部卒業生だけでなく、どなたでも無料で参加できます。次回にご期待ください。

Sophia University Law Department Alumni (SLA) held a seminar in its Frontiers of Law and Practice series. On Friday, February 15th, over twenty participated in the 14th Frontiers of Law and Practice series seminar entitled Recent Developments in Insurance Law presented by Professor Kimito Amari of the Sophia University Faculty of Law.
In addition to Faculty of Law alumni, everyone is welcome to participate in these seminars free of charge.
