【1】名古屋大会開催迫る
　　 The 2017 Nagoya Conference To Be Held

第9回地域ソフィア会全国大会2017「名古屋大会」が9月23日、24日の両日、
名古屋市で開催されます。
名古屋という地の利の良さもあってか、すでに多くの方がエントリーされて
いますが、参加申し込みは今度の日曜日、9月10日（日）まで受け付けています。
ぜひ、ご家族、ご友人をお誘いの上、お申込みください。

The 9th Regional Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) National
Conference, the 2017 Nagoya Conference, will be held over two days,
Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, the 24th.
The lure of the Nagoya region has perhaps contributed to the already
large number of registrations, but applications will still be accepted
through this coming Sunday, September 10th. Please feel free to invite
your family and friends to attend with you.

【2】第3回アジア・ソフィア会　カンボジア大会開催(12/6～12/10）
　　 The 3rd Asia SUAA Conference will be held in Cambodia December 6-10

ソフィア会は、第3回アジア・ソフィア会「カンボジア大会」を12月6日(水)～
10日(日)の5日間、カンボジアのシェムリアップ市で開催します。
大会には、アジア各国のソフィアンや上智大学へ留学された方々に加え、上智
学院から高祖敏明理事長、佐久間勤総務担当理事、大学から曄道佳明学長はじめ
教職員のみなさまが参加、日本とアジア各国ソフィアンの交流を深めます。
また、アンコール・ワットやアンコール・トム、タイとカンボジア国境に
またがる"天空の寺院"プレア・ヴィヒアなどのアンコール遺跡群を、元学長で
今回マグサイサイ賞を受賞された石澤良昭先生の案内で訪れます。多くの会員・
ご家族の方々のご参加をお待ちしています。

The 3rd Asia SUAA Conference, the Cambodian Conference, will be held
over five days from Wednesday, December 6th through Sunday, the 10th in
the Cambodian city of Siem Reap.
In addition to those studying at Sophia and Sophians in Asian countries,
the participation of Sophia University President Yoshiaki Terumichi,
Chancellor Toshiaki Koso and Trustee for General Affairs Tsutomu Sakuma
will deepen the exchange between Japan and Sophians in Asian nations.
Furthermore, former University President and recipient of the 2017 Ramon
Magsaysay Award Yoshiaki Ishizawa will guide a tour of Angkor ruins that
will include Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and the 'Heavenly Temple' of Preah
Vihear which is situated near the Thailand-Cambodia border.
Participation by many alumni and their families is anticipated.

【3】ASC2017の実行委員を募集します
　　 All Sophians' Christmas 2017 (ASC 2017) Executive Committee Members
　　 Sought

ソフィア会は、今年第10回目を迎える「オールソフィアンのクリスマス2017
(ASC2017)」を、12月に学内9号館地下カフェテリアで開催します。
それに合わせ、一緒に企画し活動してくださる実行委員を募集します。
みなさまの手で、今年のASCを一緒に作り上げましょう！

This year, SUAA will hold the Tenth All Sophians Christmas 2017
(ASC 2017) in December in the Cafeteria in the basement of Building 9 on
the Yotsuya Campus. Thus, Executive Committee members who will work
together to plan the event are being sought.
Let's join hands in creating this year's ASC!
