【1】ASCのパフォーマー、実行委員を募集中
　　 Recruiting ASC Performers and Executive Committee Members

すでに、今年の「オールソフィアンのクリスマス（ASC2018）」への取り組みが
スタートしています。
今年のASCは12月14日（金）18:00から。会場は改装して広くなった9号館のアク
ティブ・コモンズ。
現在、パーティで演奏、歌などを披露してくださる個人・団体（パフォーマー）を
募集しています。実行委員も募集中です。

Plans are already underway for this year's All Sophians' Christmas (ASC 2018).
This year, ASC will be held at 18:00 on Friday, December 14th. The venue
will be in the recently remodeled and enlarged Active Commons in the
basement of Building 9 on the Yotsuya Campus. Presently, individuals and
group performers are being recruited to provide music during the party.
Executive committee members are also being recruited.

【2】第27回コムソフィア賞、道傳愛子さんの記念講演開催
　　 27th Cumsophia Prize: Aiko Doden Commemorative Speech Held

今年のコムソフィア賞受賞者は、道傳愛子さん（1988外英・NHKワールドニュー
スコメンテイタ―）に贈られました。
今回からコムソフィア賞が、主催マスコミ・ソフィア会、後援上智大学、上智大
学ソフィア会となったこともあって、授賞式典は7月12日（木）2号館17階会議室
で盛大に開催。
続いて、道傳さんによる受賞記念講演「取材の現場から―日本と世界を考える」、
その後会場を2号館教職員食堂に移し懇親会を行いました。

The recipient selected for this year's Cumsophia Prize was Aiko Doden
(1988, Faculty of Foreign Studies, Department of English Studies; NHK
World News commentator).
This year the Cumsophia sponsored Cumsophia Prize was also supported by
Sophia University and the Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA).
The acceptance ceremony was held more grandly than in previous years on
Thursday, July 12th in the Conference Room on the 17th floor of Building
2 on the Yotsuya Campus. Following the ceremony Ms Doden presented her
acceptance speech entitled From the Interview Site: Thinking About Japan
and the World. A social gathering following the event was held in the
Faculty Cafeteria on the 5th floor of Building 2.

【3】石倉洋子さんの講演会を行います－10/18
　　 Yoko Ishikura Lecture Held October 18

ソフィア会国際委員会が主催し、石倉洋子さん（1971外英、一橋大学名誉教授）
の講演会「グローバルリーダーに学ぶ－世界で活躍する人が大切にしている小さ
な心がけ」が10月18日(木)18:15から学内6号館6階のソフィアンズクラブABC会
議室で開催されます。
これから社会に出ようとしている学生、社会に出て活動を始めた卒業生を対象に、
グローバルにご活躍中の石倉洋子さんが、今日の変化の激しい社会で自分の価値
を見出すために何を心がけるべきかを語ります。

Sponsored by the SUAA International Committee, a lecture entitled Learn
From a Global Leader: Small but Precious Practices by Successful
Global Leaders will be presented by Yoko Ishikura (1971, Faculty of
Foreign Studies, Department of English Studies; Professor Emeritus at
Hitotsubashi University) at 18:15 on Thursday October 18th in the
Sophians Club Conference Rooms ABC on the 6th floor of Building 6
(Sophia Tower) on the Yotsuya Campus.
Students about to make their way into society and alumni whose social
involvement is ongoing will both benefit from globally active Yoko
Ishikura's view of what to keep in mind in order to perceive personal
value in today's changing society.

【4】山田五郎さん講演会「絵画の楽しみ方～没後50年　藤田嗣治展に寄せて」
を開催
　　 The Goro Yamada Lecture Entitled "How to Enjoy Paintings, According to
Goro Yamada ? Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Death of
Tsuguharu Foujita" Held

ソフィア会と上智大学は共催で、「山田五郎さんに聴く　絵画の楽しみ方～没後
50年　藤田嗣治展に寄せて」を8月28日(火) 18:00から学内図書館921会議室で開
催しました。
評論家、タレントとして活躍している山田五郎さんが東京都美術館で開催中の藤
田嗣治展を軸に、美術展のみどころや藤田の数奇な人生について語りました。

SUAA and Sophia University co-sponsored a lecture entitled "How to Enjoy
Paintings, According to Goro Yamada ? Commemorating the 50th Anniversary
of the Death of Tsuguharu Foujita" on Tuesday, August 28th from 18:00,
in Meeting Room 921 in the Library on the Yotsuya Campus.
With a focus on the ongoing Foujita exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan
Art Museum, active critic and celebrity talent Goro Yamada spoke about
the appeal of art exhibitions, and Foujita's stranage life.
