【1】母校への緊急支援などを可決
Emergency Assistance to our Alma Mater Approved

ソフィア会は10月16日（土）14:00から、Web会議システムであるZoomにより2021年秋季全国代議員会を開催しました。今回も対面形式での大規模開催は難しく、事前の電磁的投票およびオンライン併用となりました。
代議員会では鳥居正男会長が開会挨拶を述べた後、佐久間勤上智学院理事長、曄道佳明上智大学長が来賓挨拶。その後、鳥居会長が活動報告を行い、審議事項として（１）新規代議員承認の件、（２）新規登録団体承認の件、（３）新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の継続による母校への緊急支援について、それぞれ担当者が趣旨説明を行いました。これらについては事前に投票が行われており、その結果多数の承認を得て可決されたことが報告されました。
その後、（１）被顕彰者候補者の募集について、（２）国内地域ソフィア会支援への取り組み、（３）2021年度課外活動支援金贈呈式の実施などについて、それぞれの担当者から報告があり、議事は15:50すぎには滞りなく終了しました。

On Saturday, October 16, from 14:00, Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) held the 2021 Autumn Conference of National Representatives of SUAA was via the Zoom webinar platform. Again, due to the difficulty of holding a meeting in a large scale face-to-face format, the Conference was held in the combined advance electronic voting and online format.
The Conference opened with a greeting from Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) President Masao Torii, which was followed by greetings from invited guests Sophia School Corporation Chancellor Tsutomu Sakuma and Sophia University President Yoshiaki Terumichi. After that, President Torii presented the Sophia Alumni Affairs Report, and the committee members in charge respectively explained the purpose for each of the motions: (1) approval of new delegates, (2) approval of new registered organizations, and (3) emergency support for our alma mater for the continuing COVID-19 outbreak. It was reported that advance voting on these items had been taken place, and as a result they were passed with majority approval.
Thereafter, reports were given by representatives including these areas: (1) Sophians Honoree candidate nominations; (2) initiatives to support regional SUAA groups in Japan; and (3) holding the SUAA ceremony to present 2021 Academic Year Extracurricular Student Activity Funds. The Conference ended without delay a bit past 15:50.

【2】「上智大学OBOGと語ろう！」は10月23日（土）にZoom開催
"Talk with Sophia University Alumni!" Held via Zoom on Saturday, October 23

ソフィア会国際委員会は、上智大学のOBOGと語り合うことでコロナ禍でもできることを見つける機会を提供し、いずれ感染拡大が収束した際に学生が少しでも幸先良いリスタートを切れるようとの願いを込めて、10月23日（土）19:00～20:30、「上智大学OBOGと語ろう！」をZoomで行います。
キャリアフォーラムのようにキャリアの話だけするのではなく、学生生活やその後の人生など、身近なテーマについてもざっくばらんにお話しいただけます。お申込みいただいた方にURLをお送りします。

With the hope that by talking with Sophia University alumni students will be able to find out what they can do even while dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak, and that they will be able to make a good start when the spread of the infection is eventually brought under control, the SUAA International Committee will hold "Let's Talk with Sophia University Alumni" on Saturday, October 23, from 19:00 to 20:30 via Zoom.
Not only will we talk about careers as in the Career Forum, but also about student life, life after school, and other familiar topics. The URL to join the Zoom event will be sent to those who have applied.

【3】2020オリンピック・パラリンピック大会へのアンケートにご協力を
2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games Questionnaire Request

ソフィア会オリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会では、東京2020オリンピック・パラリンピック大会の運営に関わられた上智大学卒業生の皆さまにアンケートを実施します。大会をどのように感じ、またどのように関わったのかを伺うことで大会を振り返り、今後の委員会の企画の参考にさせていただくのが目的です。
ボランティアとして参加予定であって無観客により活動のなかった方も、回答へのご協力をお願いします。アンケート調査の所要時間は約10～15分です。

The SUAA Olympics/Paralympics Support Ad Hoc Committee is conducting a survey of Sophia University alumni who were involved in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games operations. As the Committee reflects on the Games, its purpose of inquiring how alumni felt about and how they were involved in the Games is to use the information as reference material for future planning.
Even if you were planning to participate as a volunteer but were not able to do so because spectators were banned from the events, we would appreciate your cooperation in filling out this questionnaire. The survey will take about 10 to 15 minutes.
