【1】ソフィア会奨学金基金を設置しました
The SUAA Scholarship Fund Established

ソフィア会は「ソフィア会奨学金」を2019年度から支給開始しましたが、2020年2月1日より奨学金のための募金活動も開始しました。
ソフィア会奨学金基金では、ソフィア会の積立金残高から2020年度(今春)に１億円を拠出。これを財源に上智学院の基金制度の一つとして「ソフィア会奨学金基金」を設置し、いただいた寄付は基金設置後に基金に加えます。
2020年度から毎年度ソフィア会予算から5百万円を拠出、これに加え会員からの寄付5百万円を募ることとし、10年後（2029年）にソフィア会奨学金基金の残高2億円を目指します。

Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) first awarded the Sophia Scholarship in 2019, and began fundraising on February 1, 2020.
The 2020 SUAA Scholarship awarded this spring is funded by 100 million yen from the SUAA reserve fund balance. This resource will be established as the SUAA Scholarship Fund in accordance with the Sophia School Corporation funding system, and donations will be added to that fund after it has been established.
Each year from 2020 forward, SUAA will donate five million yen from its budget to this fund, and will raise an additional five million yen from members so that the SUAA Scholarship Fund will have a balance of 200 million yen in ten years (in 2029).

【2】ASFグループ集会の施設利用申込み受付け－2/17
ASF Applications for Group Gathering Spaces Accepted from February 17th

ASF2020が、今年も5月最終日曜日(5月31日)に上智大学四谷キャンパスで開催されます。つきましては、グループ集会（同窓会など）や模擬店（フリーマーケットを含む）、また各種企画で利用するための教室、メンストなどの会場使用申込みを2月17日（月）から受付け開始します。
なお、ASF実行委員会からの注意説明を理解・把握していただいた上で利用承認をしますので、申込み時点で利用が確定するわけではありません。ご了承ください。

ASF 2020 will be held on the last Sunday of May (May 31st) on the Yotsuya Campus. On Monday, February 17th, we will begin to accept applications for spaces to be used for group gatherings (such as alumni meetings) and booths (including flea markets), as well as classrooms to be used for various projects, and locations along Main Street.
Additionally, please note that since the ASF Executive Committee requires that their explanatory notes are understood before finalizing applications, your application cannot be approved at the time it is submitted.

【3】ソフィア会のスローガン・ロゴマークを制作
SUAA Slogan and Logo Created

ソフィア会は、目指すべき将来像を「将来ビジョン」として取りまとめ、その施策を実行する際のスローガン「つなげよう、拡げよう、深めよう、ソフィアンの絆」を発表しましたが、このほどそのロゴマークを制作、発表しました。将来ビジョンの施策を具体的に実行するソフィア会各委員会の新年の会合で発表したもので、英文も含め4つの輪でその狙いを表現しています。
今後ソフィア会は、このロゴをWebサイトや会報「ソフィアンズナウ」をはじめ、あらゆる場面でアピールしていく予定です。

In addition to compiling 12 measures to be pursued into the Vision for the Future and announcing the "Join, Widen, Deepen Sophia Family" slogan for implementing those measures, SUAA has also announced the recent creation of a logo. Since these matters were announced at the New Year's gatherings of SUAA branches, which will actually be carrying out these Vision for the Future measures, the aims have been expressed in four circles including in English.
From now on SUAA plans to use this logo in all kinds of settings, including on the SUAA website and in the SOPHIANS NOW bulletin.
