【1】ASCの日、母校に帰りましょう－12/14
　　 Come Back to Sophia on December 14th for ASC

12月14日（金）18:00から学内アクティブコモンズ（旧9号館地下カフェテリア）で開催する「オールソフィアンのクリスマス（ASC）2018」の準備が着々と進んでいます。
プログラムも固まってきました。18:00からは、恒例の「ソフィアンの祈り」。続くパーティは川島葵さん（2005文新）の司会で、卒業生によるパフォーマンスが繰り広げられます。すでに出演者は決まっていますが、誰が登場するかは当日のお楽しみ。ブースの出店も決まり、収益金の一部は東アフリカで給食支援を行っているNPO法人せいぼに送られます。12月14日は母校に帰りましょう。

Preparations are steadily continuing for All Sophians' Christmas (ASC) 2018 to be held at 18:00 on Friday, Dece mber 14th in the Yotsuya Campus Active Commons (the former Cafeteria in the basement of Building 9).
The program has also been settled. The Sophia Prayer will begin at 18:00. Aoi Kawashima (2005, School of Huma nities, Department of Journalism) will officiate at the following party with alumni performances. The performers lined up to appear have already been determined, but the list will remain classified until the day of the event.
Booths have also been arranged and part of the proceeds will be donated to NPO Seibo which supports the provisi on of school lunches in East Africa. We hope you will return to your alma mater and join us for ASC on Decemb er 14th.

Sophians Now Autumn Edition (No.184) Published

ソフィア会広報委員会は会報「ソフィアンズナウ」2018年秋号（No.184）を制作、11月末より会員への郵送を開始します。
今回は、これまで10年間にわたり特に地域ソフィア会の結束の基盤を作り続けた地域ソフィア会全国大会を特集して振り返るとともに、今年度の春・秋の代議員会の内容、この半年間に行われた講演会などを紹介しています。
また、インタビューページでは、19年にわたり上智学院の理事長を務められた高祖敏明先生に登場いただき、現在取り組んでいる潜伏キリシタン関連遺産の著作についてもお聞きしました。

The autumn edition of the Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) publication Sophians Now (Issue No.18> 4) has been published and will be mailed from the end of November.
In addition to a ten-year review focusing particularly on Regional SUAA National Conferences which have conti nued to provide a foundation for and unity among regional SUAA branches, this issue covers this year's Spring and Autumn Conferences of National Representatives of SUAA and lectures held over the last six months.
Furthermore, the interview page features Professor Toshiaki Koso, who served as the Sophia School Corporation Chancellor for 19 years, and we asked him about his current work on the heritage of hidden Christians.

【3】戦没者追悼植樹式典を行いました－11/15
Planting Ceremony to Remember Those Killed in War: November 15th

ソフィア会有志による「上智大学戦没者追悼の会」は11月15日（木）13:00より、学内1号館北側植え込みで戦没者記念植樹（ハイノキ）および式典を開催しました。
当日はソフィア会と大学関係者が出席する中、佐久間勤上智学院理事長の司式による植樹式典を行い、その後はソフィアンズクラブに会場を移しての茶話会。昔の思い出話を語り合いました。

At 13:00 on Thursday, November 15th in the area on the northern side of Building 1 on the Yotsuya Campus, the SUAA voluntarily organized Sophia University Committee for Remembering Those Killed in War held a commemo rative tree planting (Symplocaceae) and memorial ceremony to honor those who have been killed in war.
Among the SUAA and University representatives who attended, Sophia School Corporation Chancellor Tsutomu Sakuma officiated over the tree planting ceremony. A tea party followed in the Sophians Club. We reminisced about times past.
