【1】今年も大成功だったASF
　　 ASF Was a Huge Success Again This Year

5月28日(日)、ソフィア会はASF2017を開催、今年も1万人を超えるソフィアンが
母校を訪れました。
ASFは、恒例の聖イグナチオ教会の記念ミサで開幕。午前10時半からは4月に竣工
したばかりのソフィアタワー（6号館）でソフィア会の会員大会と金・ルビー・
銀・銅祝式典（大学主催行事）が行われ、その後四谷キャンパスの各所、
各教室でソフィア会登録団体のさまざまなイベントが繰り広げられました。

Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) held ASF 2017 on Sunday,
May 28th, and again this year over ten thousand alumni visited our alma
mater.
ASF began with the customary memorial Mass at St. Ignatius Church. The
SUAA Alumni Association Meeting and the Gold, Ruby, Silver and Bronze
Anniversary Ceremony (a University-sponsored event) were held at 10:30
in Sophia Tower (Building 6) which was just completed this past April.
Following that SUAA registered organizations held various events in
locations and classrooms around the Yotsuya Campus.

【2】会員大会で会務を報告
　　 SUAA Affairs Reported at the Alumni Association Meeting

ASF当日、ソフィア会は6号館（ソフィアタワー）1階の101教室でソフィア会会員
大会を行い、5月20日の全国代議員会で就任したばかりの戸川宏一新会長がこの
1年間のソフィア会の取り組みについて報告。
その後の金・ルビー・銀・銅祝式典では曄道佳明上智大学長、高祖敏明上智学院
理事長が式辞を述べ、各代の代表者が卒業当時の思い出などを交えながら挨拶
しました。

On the day of ASF, SUAA held its Sophia Alumni Meeting in classroom 101
on the 1st floor of Building 6 (Sophia Tower) on the Yotsuya Campus,
and Koichi Togawa who was newly appointed SUAA President at the
Conference of National Representatives of SUAA on May 20th reported on
SUAA initiatives undertaken during the past year.
Following the Meeting, at the Gold, Ruby, Silver and Bronze Anniversary
Ceremony Sophia University President Yoshiaki Terumichi and Chancellor
of Sophia School Corporation Toshiaki Koso gave ceremonial addresses and
representatives from each generation reminisced about their graduations
in their greetings.

【3】マスコミも注目するオリ・パラ委員会の取り組み
　　 Oly/Para Committee Initiatives Also Recognized by Mass Media

ソフィア会オリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会（オリ・パラ委員会）
はASFの企画として、義足のアスリート「HEALTH ANGELS」を迎え、障がい者
スポーツ支援イベント"バリアを超えていこう！"を行いました。
この取り組みはマスコミも注目、いくつかのWebニュースに取り上げられて
います。

As planned for ASF, the SUAA Olympics/Paralympics Support Ad Hoc
Committee (Oly/Para Committee) welcomed the HEALTH ANGELS, a sports
club for amputee athletes with prosthetics, and held Let's Overcome
Barriers!, a sports event in support of the disabled.
This initiative attracted attention of the press and appeared in some
internet news.

【4】晴佐久神父講演会に350人
　　 350 Attended Father Haresaku's Lecture

ASFでは恒例となった晴佐久昌英神父講演会も行われ、ソフィアタワー1階
101教室に集まったのは昨年を上回る350人。
「キリシタンの生き方―映画『沈黙』から―」をテーマに神父が語りました。

Father Masahide Haresaku's lecture, which has become an established ASF
custom, was held in classroom 101 on the 1st floor of Sophia Tower drew
a record-breaking 350 attendees. Father Haresaku spoke about The
Christian Way of Life - in the movie "Silence".
