【1】「＃メンスト」ブログサイトを開設
"#メンスト" Blogsite Has Been Launched

ソフィア会はWebサイト（ホームページ）に新企画「＃メンスト」を開設しました。
これまでのWebサイトは、ソフィア会からの活動報告やお知らせ、各登録団体の企画イベントの紹介などが中心になっていました。それは公式Webサイトとして致し方ないところもありますが、これに対し「＃メンスト」は特に若手卒業生へ向けた情報発信媒体、ソフィア会と卒業生が「繋がる」新しいプラットフォームを目指します。
具体的には、卒業生個人にフォーカスしたインタビュー記事や、四谷キャンパスの今を紹介する記事、それをきっかけにソフィア会のさまざまなイベントへの参加を促します。また、卒業生や在校生に、キャンパスで撮影した思い出の写真とエピソードを提供してもらい、眺めるだけで上智を懐かしめるようなウェブマガジンにする計画です。
タイトルに「＃（ハッシュ）」をつけた狙いも、ソフィアン共通の場であるメンストをキーワードに、その言葉からさまざまな関連情報が引き出されるサイトを狙ったものです。ぜひ皆さまもこのサイトに参加してください。

The Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) website, homepage, has a new section entitled "#メンスト[Main Street]".
Up until now, the website has primarily focused on SUAA activity reports and announcements and presenting events planned by registered organizations. Although there is no way around that on an official website, the aim of "#メンスト" in contrast, is to be a new informative platform 'connecting' young alumni in particular with SUAA.
Specifically, this blogsite will feature interviews focusing on individual alumni, and articles on the present Yotsuya Campus, which will promote participation in various SUAA events. We also plan to ask alumni and current students to submit photos taken on campus and to describe the memorable episodes they portray so that viewing this new web magazine will be elicit nostalgic Sophia memories.
The purpose of adding "# (hash)" to a title is to create a site that makes it easier to find various information related to a keyword, which in this case is 'Main Street' a common place for Sophians. We hope everyone uses this site.

【2】ファミリーマート副会長澤田貴司さん講演会レポート「やりたいことをやる」
Report on the 'Doing What You Desire' Lecture by Takashi Sawada, Vice Chairman of FamilyMart

ソフィア会は1月26日（水）18時から、上智大学との共催で講演会「経営者に聴くシリーズ第4弾、ファミリーマート代表取締役副会長の澤田貴司さんの「やりたいことをやる」をオンラインで開催しました。
澤田さんは卒業と同時に伊藤忠商事に入社。海外勤務などを経て、「これからの商社は従来のトレード中心のビジネスだけではなく小売関連事業への思い切った参画が必要だ」と、社長に直談判しましたが思うに任せず退職。当時まだ売上約350億円ほどだったファーストリテイリング（ユニクロ）に入社。フリースの爆発的なヒット商品を生み出し、入社半年で副社長になり、その後社長を打診されるも、辞退して退職。ご自身でファンドを立ち上げることにしました。
その後も、小売業界の大変革期にダイエーの経営再建案件に携わるなどさまざまな企業を育て、現在は古巣の伊藤忠商事からファミリーマートの社長にとの声がかかり、現在は副会長。　まさに「やりたいことをやってきた」経験談に、学生も含め多くの人が勇気づけられた講演会となりました。

As the fourth presentation in the Hear from Management Lecture Series, SUAA and Sophia University co-hosted an online lecture entitled 'Doing What You Desire' given by the Vice Chairman of FamilyMart, Takashi Sawada, at 18:00 on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Upon graduating from Sophia, Takashi Sawada joined ITOCHU Corporation. After working overseas, he directly told the company president that "in the future as well as focusing on traditional trade-centered business, trading companies need to jump into the retail-related business with both feet." However, since things didn't work out as he thought they would, he resigned. His new position was with Fast Retailing (UNIQLO), whose sales were still about 35 billion yen at the time. Having created an explosive hit with fleece products, within six months of joining the company he was appointed Vice President, and although he was later offered the position of President, he turned it down and resigned. He decided to launch his own fund.
Even after that, during a time of great retail industry change he has been guiding diverse companies to success, including being involved in the management restructuring process of Daiei. And his old employer, ITOCHU Corporation asked him to be the president of FamilyMart, where he is currently the vice chairman. Many people, including students, have been encouraged by the story his experiences in doing exactly "what he wanted to do".

■ASF2022(5月29日開催)のグループ集会等募集開始
コロナ禍の収束は未だ見通しが経ちませんが、オールソフィアンの集い（ASF2022）は対面開催も視野に入れて現在準備中です。
ついては、当日の教室・メンスト等を利用したグループ集会、フリーマーケット等を開催希望の申込みを開始いたします。
現段階では食事・アルコールを伴う懇親会は開催できません。運営上の黙食は可。ＳＪガーデンの申込みも今回は保留といたします。なお、今後社会状況により、利用条件が緩和される可能性はあります。受付は3月18日迄を予定。
