【1】ASF2017は明後日開催です
　　 ASF 2017 Held Day After Tomorrow

上智大学卒業生のホームカミングディ、そして現役学生や教職員も含めたオール
ソフィアンの集い（ASF）が明後日の5月28日（日）に迫ってきました。
ASFは、ソフィア会の公式行事であり、例年1万人を超える来場者が四谷
キャンパスを訪れる最大のイベント。大学主催の金祝、ルビー祝、銀祝、銅祝も
行われます。ぜひ母校にお帰りください。

Homecoming Day for Sophia Alumni and the All Sophians' Festival (ASF)
which includes current students, faculty and staff is coming up this
coming Sunday, May 28th.
ASF, the largest official Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA)
event, annually attracts over 10,000 Sophians to the Yotsuya Campus.
University sponsored Gold, Ruby, Silver and Bronze Anniversaries will
also be held. We hope to see you at our alma mater.

【2】【速報】全国代議員会で会員資格変更などを承認－5/20
　　 Breaking News: Membership Changes, etc. Approved at the Conference
　　 of National Representatives of SUAA on May 20th

ソフィア会は2017年春季全国代議員会を、5月20日（土）13:00より四谷
キャンパス6号館（ソフィアタワー）１階101教室で開催しました。
ここで、昨年秋の代議員会から継続審議となっていた「会員資格の変更と会則
改定」が出席代議員の多数の挙手により承認されました。すでに報告していた
「終身会費金額の変更」、「代理徴収方法の変更」についても改めて補足説明を
しました。
また新たな会長として戸川宏一さん（1963経商）を選任、新任を含む副会長、
監事、常任委員による新体制発足についても承認されました。

SUAA held the 2017 Spring Conference of National Representatives of SUAA
on Saturday, May 20th at 13:00 in classroom 101 on the 1st floor of
Building 6 (Sophia Tower) on the Yotsuya Campus.
Revisions to the membership qualifications and Sophia Alumni Association
Regulations carried over from the Autumn Conference were approved by a
show of hands from the delegates in attendance. Additional explanations
concerning the previously reported changed lifetime membership fee cost,
and the changed agency collection process were provided once again.
In addition, Koichi Togawa (1963, Faculty of Economics, Department of
Commerce) was appointed as the new president, and new appointments
include a vice chairman, auditor and standing committee members were
approved under the newly established system.

【3】金祝燦燦会がカリー先生司祭叙階50周年お祝い会－6/17
　　 Kinshuku-Sansan-Kai is Holding a Ceremony to Commemorate the 50th
　　 Anniversary of President William Currie's Ordination to the
　　 Priesthood on Saturday, June 17th

金祝燦燦会は、ウイリアム・カリー先生（元学長）の司祭叙階50周年お祝いの
会を6月17日（土）13:00からソフィアンズクラブで行います。
カリー先生と縁の深いグリークラブOB会、国際教養学部同窓会、ラグビー部OB会
なども一緒にお祝いします。

The Kinshuku-Sansan-Kai will hold a commemorative ceremony marking the
50th anniversary of President William Currie's ordination to the
priesthood at 13:00 on Saturday, June 17th in the Sophians Club. Among
others with close relationships with President Currie, the Sophia Glee
Club Alumni Association, Sophia International Alumni Association and
Rugby Football Club Alumni Association, will join in the celebration.

【4】被顕彰者選考委員会の代議員委員を募集
　　 Recruiting Delegate Committee Member Prospective Honoree Selection
　　 Committee

ソフィア会は次期被顕彰者選考委員会を設置するため、10月開催予定の秋季全国
代議員会で代議員から10名の委員を互選します。自薦・他薦を含めてソフィア会
事務局に届け出をお願いします。
ソフィア会は上智大学創立100周年を機にソフィア会に顕著な貢献あった会員の
顕彰制度を開始しており、2013年に15名、2016年に14名の方々を顕彰しています。

In order to establish the next Prospective Honoree Selection Committee,
SUAA will elect by mutual vote ten committee members from among
delegates at the Autumn Conference of National Representatives of SUAA
scheduled to be held in October. Please submit self-recommendation or
recommendations to the SUAA Secretariat.
At the time of the Sophia University Centennial Anniversary, SUAA began
the custom of honoring members making significant contributions to
Sophia Alumni Association activities. Fifteen alumni were recognized in
2013, and fourteen alumni were recognized in 2016.
