【1】課外活動支援金121万円を贈呈－後期追加支援
     1.21 Million Yen in Extracurricular Student Activity Funds Awarded (Second Semester Additional Support)

3月9日（木）15時から、学内ソフィアンズクラブにおいて課外活動支援金（後期追加支援）贈呈式を行いました。今回支援金を贈呈したのは、体育団体連合会本部、女子グランドホッケー部、ゴルフ部、管弦楽部、フィギュアスケート部（同好会）、nexnect、STPカンボジア、上智大学辨論会、フラサークルHau'oliの9団体。当日は大学側から福武学生センター長、ソフィア会からは鳥居会長など関係者が出席、代表者に目録を手渡しました。
学生課外活動支援金は大学への貢献を掲げるソフィア会の主要な取り組みのひとつ。2022年度予算として1000万円を計上、すでに昨年7月22日（金）に体育会41団体、文化系21団体に879万円を贈呈しています。

Extracurricular Student Activity Funds (second semester additional support) were awarded on Thursday, March 9th, from 15:00, in the Sophians Club on the Yotsuya Campus. Funds were presented to the following nine associations: Sophia Athletes Association, the Women's Field Hockey Club, the Golf Team, Sophia Philharmonic Orchestra, Sophia Figure Skating Club (Hobby Club Alliance), nexnect, STP Cambodia, the Sophia University Debate Club, and the Hula Circle Hau'oli. Among the University and SUAA officials attending the event were Director of the Center for Student Affairs Shintaro Fukutake and President Torii who personally presented representatives with the funds.
The SUAA Extracurricular Student Activity Fund is a major SUAA initiative for contributing to the University. The allocation for the 2022 academic year budget was 10 million yen, and of that, 8.79 million yen was previously presented to 41 athletic groups and 21 cultural groups on Friday, July 22nd last year.

【2】ASF2023まであと2か月となりました
    ASF 2023 is Two Months Away

ソフィア会最大のイベント、「オールソフィアンのつどい（ASF）」は5月28日（日）に昨年同様、リアルとオンラインのハイブリッドで開催します。すでに、実行委員長も決まり、企画の詰め作業を行っています。
今年のASFに合わせ、さまざまな登録団体が準備を進めています。ソフィア会の委員会でも、たとえば社会貢献推進委員会は、メンストに社会貢献活動のPRテントを出展することを決めています。ここで、同委員会の活動の一つである「マラウイ学校給食支援のマラウイコーヒー寄付型販売」を実施。上智学生の社会貢献活動やソフィアンの他の社会貢献活動のPRにも利用してもらうことも検討しています。みなさまも、準備を進めてください。

SUAA's largest event, the All Sophians' Festival (ASF), will be held on Sunday, May 28th as a hybrid of in person and online events as it was last year. The Executive Committee chairperson has already been selected, and plans are being firmed up.
Various registered organizations are preparing in line with this year's ASF. Among SUAA committees, the SUAA Social Contribution Promotion Committee for example has decided to set up a tent along Main Street to promote social action activities. One of the activities this Committee is engaged in is the '100% for Charity Sale of Malawi Coffee in Support of Malawi School Lunches'. Using that tent to promote social action activities led by Sophia students and other Sophians is also being considered. We everyone else is also making preparations for this event.

【3】学生に向けてソフィア会をアピール
    Promoting Sophia Association to Students

ソフィア会では学生の卒業、新入のこの時期に合わせ、ソフィア会の活動をアピールし積極的に加わってもらうための印刷物を発行しています。
ひとつは3月末の学位授与式に合わせて発行するソフィアンズナウ号外。「ご卒業、おめでとうございます。そして、ようこそソフィア会へ」とのタイトルで、世界にソフィア会の14万人のソフィアンズ・ネットワークがあり、そこに新たな出会いがあることをアピールする内容です。
4月の入学式にも、新入生に「ソフィア会ガイドブック」を発行します。学生時代から、ソフィア会の活動に関心を持ってもらうのが狙い。学生への学費請求時にも、ソフィア会をアピールする印刷物を同封します。

Around the time students graduate and new students arrive, SUAA issues printed material to promote active participation in SUAA activities.
One of these is the SOPHIANS NOW Special Edition, which is published in conjunction with the Graduation Ceremony held at the end of March. With Congratulations on Your Graduation and Welcome to Sophia University Alumni Association as the title, content promotes our 140,000-member strong SUAA network around the world, and meeting new people through it. The SUAA Guidebook will be distributed to new students at the Entrance Ceremony in April. Our aim is to get students interested in SUAA activities from the time they are students. Printed SUAA PR material will also be enclosed when tuition billing is sent out to students.
