鹿児島で開催の地域ソフィア会全国大会を告知した、7月14日配信の「ソフィア会メールニュース」特別号はご覧になりましたか。
1日目は会員大会と懇親会、2日目にはエクスカーションをご用意。九州各地のソフィア会が総力を挙げて皆さんをお待ちしています。
2日目のエクスカーションは次の3つからお選びいただけます。

②知覧特攻平和会館と砂蒸し風呂を巡るツアー

【2】ソフィア会学生課外活動支援金贈呈式報告

7月17日（月）に2023年度学生課外活動支援金贈呈式を開催し、文化系18団体、体育会42団体の60団体に、ソフィア会から合計862万円の支援金を贈呈しました。
授賞式では、鳥居ソフィア会長が課外活動の重要性を学生に語られ、受賞した団体の代表者からは謝辞が評されました。
私たちはこれからも、さまざまな機会を通じて、母校の学生たちを支援していきます。

【E-1】Kagoshima Conference Registration Deadline Is Approaching

Did you see the July 14th Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) Email News special edition announcing the Regional SUAA National Conference held in Kagoshima? The SUAA Conference proceedings and Reception will be held on the first day, and Excursions will be held on the second day. SUAA chapters throughout Kyushu are exerting all their effort to welcoming you.
Choose from the following three excursions on the second day:
(1) Sakurajima and Kirishima Shrine Tour
(2) Chiran Peace Museum and Sand Bath Tour
(3) Kamou Country Club Golf Competition
The Conference registration deadline is Wednesday, August 9th. Please click on the link below and register as early as possible!

【E-2】Report on the SUAA Extracurricular Student Activity Fund Presentation Ceremony

The 2023 Fiscal Year Extracurricular Student Activity Fund Presentation Ceremony was held on Monday, July 17th, and SUAA awarded a total of 8.62 million yen to 60 groups: 18 cultural groups and 42 athletic groups. During the ceremony, SUAA President Masao Torii spoke to students about the importance of extracurricular activities, and representatives of organizations receiving funding expressed their appreciation. We will continue supporting students at our alma mater through a variety of opportunities.
