【1】「経営者に聴くシリーズ」にナビタイム大西啓介社長登場－10/9
　　 Hear From Management Series To Feature NAVITIME President Keisuke

ソフィア会は上智大学と共催で、「経営者に聴くシリーズ」第2弾として
ナビタイムジャパンの創業者であり社長である大西啓介さんの講演会を
10月9日(火)、四谷キャンパス 2号館17階1702会議室で開催します。
テーマは「大学時代の研究からナビタイムジャパンという会社が誕生した～
企業と今後の戦略」。
学生時代のこと、起業のきっかけ、現在提供している経路案内サービスや移動
ビッグデータ活用の最新事例についてお話しいただきます。

The second session in the Hear From Management Series, co-hosted by
Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) and Sophia University, will
feature Keisuke Onishi, founder and president of NAVITIME JAPAN. The
event will be held on Tuesday, October 9th at 18:00 in Conference Room
1702 on the 17th floor of Building 2 on the Yotsuya Campus.
The theme will be "NAVITIME JAPAN, a University Research Spin-off:
Business Strategy and Future Plans". Dr. Onishi will talk about his
student days, the inspiration for launching the business, and the latest
examples of navigation services and the utilization of transit-related
big data.

【2】「香川大会」申し込み受付中
　　 Kagawa Conference Applications Now Being Accepted

地域ソフィア会全国大会「2018香川大会は」9月29日、30日の両日開催されます。
今年、第10回を迎える全国大会は初めての四国での開催。
ホストの香川ソフィア会は「全国一面積の狭い香川の地での開催ですが、四国の
愛媛、高知、徳島の他県各ソフィア会のご協力の下、限りなく熱い思いを持って、
開催のための準備を進めております」と語っています。
ぜひ、みなさまのご参加をお待ちしています

The 10th Regional Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) National
Conference, the 2018 Kagawa Conference will be held over the September
29-30 weekend. This year, the SUAA National Conference in its tenth
year, will for the first time be held on Shikoku.
The host, Kagawa SUAA, said "Although Kagawa is the smallest prefecture
in Japan event preparations are progressing with the unlimited
passionate cooperation of Ehime SUAA, Kochi SUAA and Tokushima SUAA who
represent the other prefectures on the island of Shikoku." We look
forward to a fantastic turnout.

【3】山田五郎氏講演会8月28日（火）に順延開催
　　 The Goro Yamada Lecture on Has Been Rescheduled for Tuesday,
　　 August 28th

8月8日(水)、台風のため中止となった講演会「山田五郎さんに聴く　絵画の
楽しみ方～没後50年 藤田嗣治展に寄せて」は、8月28日(火)の開催が決定
しました。
東京都美術館で開催中の『没後50年　藤田嗣治展』の企画者自らが、美術展の
魅力、楽しみ方、藤田嗣治展の見所について語ります。
改めての参加申込をお願いします。

Originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 8th, the lecture entitled
"How to Enjoy Paintings, According to Goro Yamada - Commemorating the
50th Anniversary of the Death of Tsuguharu Foujita" was cancelled due
to inclement typhoon weather, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August
28th.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum exhibition entitled "Foujita: A
Retrospective - Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of his Death" was
planned by Sophian Goro Yamada who will personally talk about the appeal
of the art exhibition, how to enjoy it, and the highlights of the
Tsuguharu Foujita exhibition. Please re-register to attend.
