【1】東京国際フォーラムで2021年度学位授与式を挙行
2021 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony Held at the Tokyo International Forum

上智大学は3月28日（月）、東京・有楽町の東京国際フォーラムのホールAにおいて、2021年度の学位授与式を学部・学科別に午前と午後の2部制で開催。これにより、ソフィア会は新たに約3,300名の新会員を迎えました。当日は新型コロナウイルス感染状況や収容人員の関係から父母・保証人は1名に限って入場、その他の方にはYouTubeでライブ配信を行いました。
式典終了後はそれぞれ四谷キャンパスの教室で学科・研究科・専攻科別集会が行われ、その後は別れを惜しむように学内のあちこちで写真撮影や恩師、友人と語りあう姿が見られました。当日はソフィアンズクラブも開放され、多くの卒業生が訪れていました。

The Sophia University 2021 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held in two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon depending upon the Undergraduate Faculty and Graduate Program, on Monday, March 28, 2022 in Hall A at the Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, Tokyo. With this, Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) welcomed over 3,300 new members. Due to the COVID-19 situation and the seating capacity, entry to the Ceremony sessions on that day was restricted to one parent or guarantor, and everyone else watched via live streaming on YouTube.
Following the Ceremony sessions, each Undergraduate Department, Graduate Program, and the Course of Midwifery will hold a gathering in a classroom on the Yotsuya Campus. Graduates were seen taking pictures and talking with their former professors and friends around the Campus as if saying goodbye. Many graduates visited the Sophians Club, which was also open that day.

【2】今年のソフィアンズカップは9月5日（月）です
Sophians' Cup Held Monday, September 5th

ソフィア会は今年で27回目を迎える恒例のソフィアンズカップを9月5日（月）、千葉県佐倉市の麻倉ゴルフ倶楽部で開催します。
今年も新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大防止の観点から懇親会・表彰式は行わず、ゴルフプレーのみの開催となります。また、感染状況によっては中止することもありますので、ご了承の上お申し込みください。

This year SUAA will hold its 27th Sophians' Cup on Monday, September 5th at the Asakura Golf Club in Sakura, Chiba.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections, again this year neither a social gathering nor an award ceremony will be held, so the event will consist only of the round of golf. Please be aware that this event is subject to cancellation depending upon the COVID-19 infection situation.

【3】オリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会が解散
Dissolution of the SUAA Olympics/Paralympics Support Ad Hoc Committee

ソフィア会の時限特別委員会として活動してきたオリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会が、3月31日に解散しました。
同委員会は、常任委員会の承認によって2015年12月に設立されて活動を開始。東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会組織委員会と連携協定を締結した上智大学のオリンピック・パラリンピック関連事業を支援し、社会貢献と会員交流を推進する活動を6年3カ月余り実施してきました。
また、「ラグビーワールドカップ2019」と「ワールドマスターズゲームズ2021関西」についても地域の活性と地域ソフィア会との連携のために支援する活動を行ってきましたが、ワールドマスターズゲームズ2021大会開催が2026年以降に再延期されることを受け3月末で解散することとしたものです。

The Olympics/Paralympics Support Ad Hoc Committee, which operated as a SUAA special Ad Hoc Committee, was dissolved on March 31st.
With Standing Committee approval, the SUAA Olympics/Paralympics Ad Hoc Committee (Oly/Para Committee) was established and began its activities in December 2015. The Oly/Para Committee supported the Sophia University Olympic and Paralympic Support Committee which signed a collaboration agreement with the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Activities to promote social contribution and member exchange have been carried out for more than 6 years and 3 months.
In addition, the Oly/Para Committee has also carried out activities that supported the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai to aid regional revitalization and to cooperate with regional SUAA groups, but since the World Masters Games 2021 has been rescheduled for 2026, or later, the decision was made to dissolve this Ad Hoc Committee at the end of March 2022.

【5】大学関連ニュース

■2022年度の金祝などの式典を延期します
毎年5月最終日曜日にASFに合わせ大学主催行事として行っている金、ルビー、銀、銅祝の各式典は、コロナ禍が収束し、飲食を伴う祝賀会の開催案内ができる見通しが整うまで延期となりました。今回は2022年度の金祝（1972年卒）、ルビー祝（1982年卒）、銀祝（1997年卒）、銅祝（2007年卒）。2022年度秋季の開催を予定していますが、開催日（開催案内時期）は未定です。
