We had a nice and pleasant dinner meeting with Sali sensei, SJ, PhD, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Sophia School Corporation and Professor in the Faculty of Global Studies, on the evening of Sunday, October 4, at a Spanish restaurant.
He visited Germany to attend the ceremonies marking the 50th anniversary of the founding of the education and humanitarian aid organization of the Archdiocese of Cologne, with which Sophia University has long had exchanges. This organization works worldwide in education and humanitarian aid, regardless of religion or nationality.
Sali sensei visited Düsseldorf after the ceremonies. The members were limited due to Sunday evening, but we could have a very intensive conversation on various subjects, from Sophia University today and tomorrow, how A.I. will change... the studies at the University etc. until Sali sensei's culture shocks after arriving in Japan from his home country India. Some episodes were quite serious at that time, but those sound so funny today after his 29 years' life in Japan !!
