Washington DC Sophians Happy Hour (March 15)

DC Sophians hosted a happy hour at a Mediterranean restaurant in Washington, DC, on March 15, 2023, for a special guest, which was me at this time. I was visiting Washington, DC, from St. Louis, Missouri, as part of my coursework in social policy.
After coming to the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was stuck in St. Louis for a while. However, I was able to come out to DC finally and meet four Sophians there. It was a very wonderful opportunity that we had fancy dishes and nice conversations together. We laughed a lot while sharing various topics. This was the special time that made me feel at home overseas.
Also, some cherry blossoms started blooming, and I enjoyed the fantastic views everywhere in the city. I will definitely come back to this beautiful city and would like to meet DC Sophians again. I can hardly wait for the next opportunity!
