The Dusseldorfer Sophia-kai held its very first web-New Year Party on January 17th.

Since a Web-meeting does not care where the participants are,
45 Sophians got together from Australia, Japan, Europe and USA,
including the former members of Dusseldorfer Sophia-kai .
As usual for us, participants were from various generations i.e. from 20's to 80's
and women & men.
It was very lovely that some members met each other for the first time after 20-30 years' break,
and some members were difficult to be identified. Time is running...
This was a very good feature of a web-party!
We enjoyed our 1.5 hours web-New Year Party with the New Year greeting from
our Chairman Mariko Fuchs san & 'over-the-screen Toast' by our Vice Chairman Hayato Kamijo san
followed by various self-introductions from various members from the various countries.
To close our web-New Year party, we song our Sophia University Song (Hymn) together
by showing the Hymn video movie which we specially arranged and produced for this web New Year Party.
The last, but not the least... We arranged 'Dusseldorfer Sophia-kai New Year Party Special Bento'
with the kind cooperation extended by a popular Japanese restaurant.
Unfortunately this delicious Bento could not be delivered to Sophians in other regions than Dusseldorf....
