Washington, D.C. Chapter gathered with students from S.G.C. (Sophia Georgetown Student Connection)
2018年09月28日
On September 11th, the Sophia University Alumni Association, Washington, D.C. Chapter gathered with 7 students from a student group called S.G.C. (Sophia Georgetown Student Connection). Furthermore, a total of four students, three of whom started their exchange program at George Mason University and myself at Georgetown University, also joined in. We gathered at Vapiano restaurant near Dupont Circle.
The S.G.C. was founded in 2013 in commemoration of Sophia University's 100th anniversary since its inception, with a goal of promoting long-term relations with Georgetown University. On September 16th, SGC held a discussion and exchanged opinions with Georgetown University students. They were also honored to meet with the alumni (in the association) who are working in the U.S. Department of Justice and the World Bank. This is the third time the DC Association had an opportunity to meet students from S.G.C.
For many of the current students, having the opportunity to hear about the lives of alumni in the DC area was a very valuable and precious experience.
