ワシントンDCソフィア会開催報告

去る11/21、DCソフィア会のハッピーアワーがデュポンサークル駅近くのトルコ料理店で開かれました。
実はソフィア会幹事メンバーの一人であった私が日本に帰国することになり壮行会も兼ねて頂きました。
様々なイベントの思い出話に花が咲き、あっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました。
DCソフィア会の皆様との交流は、つい業務のみに集中してしまいがちな自分の視野を広げてくれました。
また東京の現役ソフィアン達もDCを何度も訪問して下さいました。

メンバー同士が互いをリスペクトし、世界を舞台に活躍し世代を超えて交流して強まって行くソフィアンのネットワークをこれからも誇りとしていきたいと思います。

今後のDCソフィア会の益々の発展を祈念しております。有難うございました。

On November 21, D.C. area Sophians gathered for happy hour at a Turkish restaurant near Dupont Circle. As I was a member of the D.C. Sophia Alumni Chapter's Organizing Team, the gathering was partially due to my upcoming departure back to Japan. The meeting helped me reminisce on numerous past events we worked on, thus, I felt like our time passed so quickly. My exchange with Sophians in the area broadened my horizons as I tended to indulge in my official work duties. On numerous occasions, we also had the privilege of welcoming visiting Sophia University students from Tokyo.

Even after I leave I will continue to take pride in Sophians' efforts and solidarity in displaying to the world unparalleled respect, strength, and achievements.

I wish all D.C. Sophians' success and prosperity in all their future endeavors.
