Duesseldorfer Sophia-kai enjoyed the New Year Party 2015
The Duesseldorfer Sophia-kai celebrated and enjoyed a great New Year Party 2015 on the first snowed Winter day January 24th (Saturday).
For this meeting, more than 60 Sophians & families from several generations in Germany and Belgium got together, including the members of "BKB15+1", almost sounds like the popular J-Pop group AKB48, in the Japanese restaurant 'Kikaku' in Dusseldorf, Germany.
What is BKB15+1 ??
BKB15 stands for Students from Yotsuya studying at Universities in the German cities
"Bonn, Koeln(Cologne) and Bremen" !
and + 1 ?? + 1 stands for a Student from Yotsuya who is working at this restaurant who is staying in Germany by using 'Working-Holiday-System' between Japan and Germany.
We welcomed 3 babies, too, this year.
We enjoyed a lot of delicious Japanese New Year dishes, Sushi and more, with free drinks and enjoyed chatting without stopping.
Some Students from Yotsuya were claiming joyfully how they got weight in Germany by big volume local foods, talking cheerfully how they are enjoying Student life in Germany and asking the graduated Sophians about the working life in Europe for their future life planning.
We are going to expand relationship and communication between Students from Yotsuya (Successors to BKB15 +1) and Graduates living in Germany.
For closing the party, we sang Sophia University Song all together to close our pleasant New Year Meeting happily.
Some enjoyed the meeting further with Karaoke !
Hurrah Hurrah SOPHIA ＼(^o^)／
