Duesseldorfer Sophia-kai enjoyed the New Year Party 2013 !

The Duesseldorfer Sophia-kai celebrated a great New Year Party on January 26th (Saturday), by getting around 50 Sophians, not only from Duesseldorf region, but also from other regions of Germany as usual.
We enjoyed a lot of delicious Japanese New Year dishes, Sushi etc. with free drinking sake, wine, beer, soft drinks and chatting among Sophians without stopping.
Some of regular visitors could not join us this year, but having had many current students from Japan who are studying in German Universities nearby is the special feature of our New Year Party this year, as result we welcomed 15 new members.
This year we distributed on the party a copy of memory stories about 'the estimated birth time of Duesseldorfer Sophia kai, collected from some Senior Sophians.
It is estimated that Duesseldorfer Sophia kai was established around 1970.
We came to know that we have the history more than 40 years.
Finally we sang Sophia University song all together to close our New Year party in a very good mood.
