Report on Celebrating 50 years of exchange between Ateneo De Manila University and Sophia University

This exchange program started at 1968 for get to know and experience outside the Japan. For this reason, Ateneo De Manila University, same Jesuits University, started short term of exchange program. Due to the political difficulties this exchange program was stopped while; however, friendship of alumni of exchange program continued.

On October 2018, Yoshiaki Terumichi, President of Sophia University was invited for celebration of 50 years of exchange at Manila. On return, we organized both ceremony and party at Sophia University on 5th March 2019. During the ceremony we received remarks from honorable guests from Philippine Embassy in Japan followed by both alumni and present exchange students.

At the party, we started with introduction of members from both side and ended with wonderful stage performance from Ateneo side.
