Hello , Graduates of Sophia University in 1961, 1962 and 1963 ! "Please come together to Yamanashi, the wine and grape country"

Our Alma Mater Sophia University will celebrate "The 100^th Anniversary of the Founding " in 2013. It was about a half century ago when we congratulated "The 50^th Anniversary" in the spring of 1963. All of the graduates of 1961 would have been celebrated for their 50^th graduation anniversary in last March by our Alma Mater .The graduates of 1962 will see their 50^th anniversary in next March. Needless to say,The graduates of 1963 will see their 50^th commemoration day in 2013 just when our Alma Mater celebrates the 100^th one.
All of you will surely remember the banner " Congratulation on the 50^th anniversary of the founding " displayed over the main street of Yotsuya Campus in your senior students' days.
Now, the Sophia Alumni Association has been preparing for "The 100^th Anniversary". For example, local meetings of all Sophians were held at Fukuoka in 2009, at Osaka in in 2010 respectively. The meeting 2011 will be held in Yamanashi Prefecture, the center of the Japanese Islands. The grounds of the meeting are scheduled at Kofu and Katsunuma, famous for grapes.
All alumni of 1961, 1962 and 1963 ! Please gather round to this famous wine country on the 22^nd and 23^rd of October. The association has prepared joyful programs for the meeting. Shuttle bases will start from Shinjuku on the first day and return to there on the next day.
