The Ireland Sophians Association recently gathered for our first meeting in several months after a busy summer. We enjoyed a good catch up and a selection of delicious Vietnamese dishes at a Dublin city centre restaurant, which was very appropriate given the unseasonably balmy weather!
The regular members were delighted to welcome three Sophia University students who recently arrived for a year's exchange studies at Dublin City University: Onosato-san in her second year along with Zayasu-san and Kayama-san in their fourth years.
We were happy to hear that they are getting on well so far and wish them every success during their time here and into the future.
Plans for a New Year gathering are already afoot, which we are all looking forward to after a difficult period with the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
