A Relaxing Sunday with Ramen in Dublin

Now that pandemic-related restrictions have eased and a sense of normality has returned in Ireland and across Europe, the Ireland Sophians met up for lunch on a recent sunny Sunday. We enjoyed tasty ramen and gyoza at the newly-opened Nomo Ramen in Dublin city centre and then continued to a pub across the road for a drink and a chat. We were pleased to welcome our newest member Haruka Hand (Spanish Studies, Faculty of Foreign Languages, 2009) who recently moved to Ireland, as well as Mark and Rachel Walker, the widower and daughter of our former chairperson Mitsue Walker.
The two exchange students from Sophia who joined us several times recently have both returned to Japan- we hope they bring back wonderful memories of Ireland and wish them every success for the future!
