HK Sophians' Party at Spanish Restaurant "Mijas" (Murray House, Stanley)

25 Sophians gathered at Mijas restaurant in Stanley on June 22. Mijas is located in a Victorian-era Murray House which was built in 1846. It has been used by military and government in Central, but was removed and rebuilt in Stanley during the 2000s.

Strong Wind Signal 3 was announced on the previous night. However, the warning has been cancelled by noon and we all enjoyed good weather as the party went on.

One of the purposes of the meeting was to build a sense of unity towards "Asia Sophia-kai" to be held on 22-24 November in Hong Kong. Mr.Tsuyoshi Iwasaki (1984, Dept of English Studies) also joined the party from Singapore and forcefully declared his commitment to the success of the first "Asia Sophia-kai".
