Applications from any foreign students studying in Japanese Universities are welcome.
Age or Japanese language level is unquestioned for application.


With cooperation of Sophia University, the Sophia International Alumni Association will hold the 4th Japanese Speech Contest for ALL foreign students studying in Japanese universities.


In order to encourage exchanges beyond the boundaries of universities, all foreign students are invited to join despite the locations of the school or prefectures you reside.
The contest will be held by on-line broadcast system from Yotsuya campus in Tokyo.


This is the 4th Xavier Cup which has attracted lots of attentions from many universities in the past.
We hope to offer this opportunity for you to participate to show the results of your language study and also as a place to realize further international cultural exchanges.


Date and Time:

Saturday, 3rd December, 2022
From 1 PM to 5 PM

Place:

Sophia University Yotsuya Campus Online broadcast

Application Qualification:

Foreign students enrolled in Japanese universities

Selection process:

Document screening (15 students to join the contest on 3rd Dec.)

Presentation Theme:

(Choose 1 out of the 3)

1. How you would want to be in 10 years from now.
2. Make a presentation of your "Japan" to friends at home.
3. Make a presentation of your own country, with bragging stories.

Speech must be within 5 minutes.

Awards:

1st Prize ¥50,000
2nd Prize ¥40,000
3rd Prize ¥30,000
and many other participation awards.
