第28回コムソフィア賞受賞者を決定

須磨美由紀さんと川村元気さん

　ソフィア会とマスコミ・ソフィア会が共催（上智大学後援）するコムソフィア賞運営委員会は、第28回コムソフィア賞授賞者を障害児保育スーパーバイザーの須磨美由紀さん（1983文社福）と東宝プロデューサーの川村元気さん（2001文新）とすることを決定しました。受賞式と記念講演会は、7月16日17:30から学内2号館17階国際会議場で行います。
受賞理由は以下の通りです。

須磨美由紀さん
　須磨美由紀さんは、登山死した実弟の遺志をついで財団を設立し、カンボジアをはじめ中国の辺地の子供たちの識学、衛生教育、さらには小学校、病院の建設支援活動をしてこられました。国内では障害児の保育支援活動に邁進、その活動の原点は学生時代にピタウ元学長と一緒に参加したカンボジア難民キャンプ支援にあったことを評価しました。

川村元気さん
　川村元気さんは、日本映画メディアにおいて「電車男」、「告白」、「悪人」をはじめアニメ映画「君の名は」などのメガヒット作を企画プロデュース。その作品は国内だけでなく世界的にも高く評価されています。一方、活字メディアにおいても「億男」、「世界から猫が消えたなら」などベストセラーを生み出しており、これからも日本を代表するエンターテイメントの旗手としての活躍が期待されます。

The 28th Cum-Sophia Prize recipients have been announced as Miyuki Suma and Genki Kawamura

On April 24, 2019, The Cum-Sophia steering committee announced Miyuki Suma and Genki Kawamura were to be awarded the Cum-Sophia Prize.
Miyuki Suma is a Childcare Supervisor for disabled children who graduated from 　Department of Social Services in Faculty of Humanities 1983.
Genki Kawamura is a Film Producer at TOHO CO.,LTD. and graduated from Department of　Journalism in Faculty of Humanities 2001.
The award ceremony and the commemorative lecture will be held at the International Conference Hall（Building No.2, 17th fl）on July 16.

The basis for the Award

Following the death of her brother in mountaineering accident Miyuki Suma established a foundation to carry out his will to provide children in Cambodia and rural China with literacy and health education as well as to assist setting up elementary schools and hospitals in the area.
She is devoted to providing childcare support networks for disabled children in Japan. Her motivation for this line of work dates back to her days as an undergraduate student when she volunteered at a Cambodian refugee camp with the former president of Sophia University J.Pittau SJ.
Genki Kawamura has a keen ability to capture the mood of the current times. His works include「Densha Otoko（Train Man）」, 「Kokuhaku（Confessions）」,「Akunin（Villain）」,「Kimino na Wa (Your Name.)」. These movies are highly acclaimed not only in Japan but also internationally. As a novelist Genki has also penned the following best sellers:「Sekaikara Neko ga Kietanara (If Cats Disappeared from the World) 」, 「Okuotoko(Million Dollar Man)」.
The committee hopes him to continue to be a leader in the Japanese entertainment industry.
