【1】9月24、25日に仙台でお会いしましょう
　　 Let's Get Together in Sendai on September 24th and 25th

前号でお伝えしたように、今年第8回目を迎える地域ソフィア会全国大会
（宮城大会）は9月24日（土）、25日（日）の両日、仙台市の江陽グランド
ホテルなどで開催されます（ホスト：宮城ソフィア会）。
ただいま、参加申し込みをFAXおよびWebで受け付けています。
ぜひ、ご参加ください。

As previously announced, the 8th Annual Regional Sophia University
Alumni Association (SUAA) National Conference, the Miyagi Conference,
will be held on both September 24th and 25th this year at the Koyo Grand
Hotel in Sendai, hosted by the Miyagi branch of the SUAA.
Registration is now being accepted either by Fax or online. By all
means, please join us.

【2】ASC2016の実行委員を募集しています
　　 ASC 2016 Executive Committee Members Sought

ソフィア会は公式行事「オールソフィアンのクリスマス2016 (ASC2016)」
（第9回）を12月15日(木)に開催します。
そこで、ASC2016実行委員会では、一緒に活動してくださる実行委員を募集して
います。

The 9th All Sophians' Christmas 2016 (ASC 2016), an official SUAA event,
will be held on Thursday, December 15th. The ASC 2016 Executive
Committee is seeking alumni who are interested in working together as
members of the Executive Committee.

【3】学生課外活動支援金を贈呈しました－7/21
　　 Student Extracurricular Activities Support Fund Donations Made
　　 July 21st

ソフィア会は7月21日、2016年度の学生課外活動支援金を60団体（文科系19団体、
体育会41団体）に贈りました。
支援金額は、文科系団体に270万円（各団体に10～20万円）、体育会に500万円
（各部に5～20万円）です。
贈呈セレモニーは、2号館1701会議室に来賓として早下学長をはじめ大学関係者、
またソフィア会役員、常任委員が出席して行いました。
その場で、60団体の代表者一人ひとりに上原ソフィア会会長から贈呈目録が手渡
されました。

On July 21st, SUAA made 2016 Student Extracurricular Activities Support
Fund donations to 60 organizations (19 cultural organizations, and 41
athletic organizations). A 2.7-million yen donation was made to support
cultural organizations (100,000 to 200,000 yen to each organization),
and a 5-million yen donation was made to support athletic organizations
(50,000 to 200,000 yen to each organization).
Sophia University President Hayashita and other university officials, as
well as SUAA Board members and Standing Committee members, attended the
Presentation Ceremony held in Conference Room 1701 in Building 2. At
that time, SUAA President Uehara personally presented the donations to
representatives of the 60 organizations.

【4】ソフィア経済人倶楽部が「会員大会　BBQ」を開催－9/3
　　 The Sophia Business Club Will Hold a Member Event BBQ September 3rd

ソフィア経済人倶楽部（SBC）は9月3日（土）11:00から、初の会員大会として
学内SJガーデンにおいてBBQパーティーを開催します。
SBCはここで会員の親睦を図るとともに、ビジネス・ネットワーキングを構築
したい考えです。

The Sophia Business Club (SBC) will hold a BBQ, its first Member Event,
on Saturday, September 3rd at 11:00 in the SJ Garden on the Yotsuya
Campus. SBC is hoping this event will promote friendship among members
and provide an opportunity for networking.

【5】仏文学科創設50周年記念行事の申込みを開始－仏文学科同窓会
　　 Registration Begins for Department of French Literature 50-year
　　 Commemorative Events - Department of French Literature Alumni
　　 Association

フランス文学科同窓会は10月1日(土) 、四谷キャンパスにおいてフランス文学科
創設50周年記念行事を行いますが、その申し込み受付を開始しました。
また、同記念行事のためのwebサイトも開設しました。

On Saturday, October 1st, the Department of French Literature Alumni
Association will hold commemorative events on the Yotsuya Campus to
celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Department
of French Literature. Registration has now begun. A website has been
launched for the event.
