【1】各式典懇親会の開催報告出そろう
　　 Information on Ceremony, Reunion Get-togethers Posted

5月29日（日）の「オールソフィアンの集い（ASF）2016」に合わせて開催された
金・ルビー・銀・銅祝。
その祝典に続いて当日午後に開催された懇親会の開催報告がそれぞれソフィア会
Webサイトに掲載されました。
今年はいずれのパーティも過去最高の参加者を記録など盛況。
常に最大の動員を誇ってきた銀祝をトップに、他の会もそれぞれ大幅に参加者を
増やしました。

Reports on reunion get-togethers held in the afternoon following the
Gold, Ruby, Silver and Bronze Anniversary Celebration held in
conjunction with the All Sophians' Festival (ASF) 2016 on Sunday, May
29th have been posted on the Sophia University Alumni Association
(SUAA) website.
Participation at each of the parties this year surpassed that of any
previous year. Proud that as usual it was able to bring the largest
number together, the Silver group was at the top. Attendance for the
other three reunion gatherings also significantly increased.

【2】ソフィアタワーの外壁工事が完了
　　 Sophia Tower External Construction Completion

今年12月の竣工を目指して建設中のソフィアタワー（新6号館）では、外壁工事が
ほぼ完了。
まだ屋上にクレーンはあるものの、完成時の姿を現しました。
すでにお伝えしているように、このソフィアタワーの6階にソフィア会の拠点、
新ソフィアンズクラブがオープンします。
メンストを望む絶好の位置です。

The external construction of Sophia Tower, the new Building No. 6 is
nearly done. The building is expected to be completed in December of
this year. Although a crane remains on the roof, we can now recognize
what the building will look like when finished.
As previously reported, the SUAA focal point, the new Sophians Club will
open on the sixth floor of Sophia Tower. This location offers an ideal
view of Main Street.

【3】オリパラ支援特別委員会が第1回報告会を開催－7/4
　　 Oly/Para Support Ad Hoc Committee Holds 1st Meeting July 4th

オリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会（オリ・パラ支援特別委員会）
は、情報会員の第1回報告会を7月4日(月)　19:00から四谷キャンパス内
紀尾井坂ビルで開催。
この場で、委員会の活動計画を情報会員に説明、意見交換を行います。
なお情報会員には、ソフィア会正会員である卒業生だけでなく、準会員である
上智大学学生もソフィア会Webサイトから登録できます。

The Olympics/Paralympics Support Ad Hoc Committee (Oly/Para Support Ad
Hoc Committee) will hold its first meeting for PR members on Monday,
July 4 at 19:00 in the Kioizaka Building on the Yotsuya Campus. The
committee activity plan will be explained to members at this meeting and
ideas will be discussed.
Please note that PR members do not necessarily need to hold SUAA alumni
membership; current Sophia University students are SUAA associate
members and may also register on the SUAA website.

【4】菅原裕二神父講演会のお知らせ－8/30
　　 Rev. Fr. Yuji Sugawara, SJ Lecture Held August 30th

ピタウ先生を語る会と上智新聞インテル会は、教皇庁立グレゴリアン大学教会
法学部長・イエズス会司祭である菅原裕二神父（80法法）の講演会を8月30日
（火）18:00から上智大学2号館17階国際会議場で開催します。
講演のタイトルは「ピタウ先生の理念と上智大学、そしてバチカン」。
40年前に上智大学法学部に入学してピタウ先生に出会い、ローマでの20年間も
先生とご一緒に過ごされた菅原神父が、ピタウ先生の思い出と今のバチカンに
ついて語ります。

The Rev. Pittau Society and the Sophia Times Alumni Association will
sponsor a lecture by Jesuit priest and Pontifical Gregorian University
Faculty of Canon Law Dean Rev. Fr. Yuji Sugawara ('80, Faculty of Law,
Department of Law) on Tuesday, August 30th at 18:00 in the
International Conference Room on the 17th floor of Building No. 2 on
the Yotsuya Campus. The title of the lecture is Rev. Pittau's Spirit
and Sophia University, and the Vatican.
Rev. Fr. Yuji Sugawara, who met Rev. Pittau 40 years ago when he
enrolled in Sophia University Faculty of Law and spent 20 years
teaching with him in Rome, will share his recollections and speak about
the Vatican as it is now.
