【1】ASF2016は明後日開催です
　　 ASF 2016 is Day After Tomorrow

いよいよ、「オールソフィアンの集い（ASF）」まで残すところあと僅かと
なりました。
今年のテーマ「Sophians' Chemistry～メンストから世界が見えたなら～」を
表すロゴ入りのオリジナルTシャツや、ソフィアングッズが出来上がり、様々な
企画が最終的な準備段階に入っています。
GW明けに発送されたソフィアンズナウ、公式Webサイトをご覧になり、ぜひ1つ
でも多くの企画にご参加ください。
友人や家族、お一人での参加でも楽しめる、学びと遊びの好奇心を満たす
コンテンツをたくさんご用意してお待ちしています。
5月29日をお楽しみに。

At long last, the All Sophians' Festival (ASF) is almost here.
Original T-shirts featuring this year's 'Sophians'Chemistry ― If
the world could be seen from Main Street' theme and other Sophian goods
are ready, and final preparations for various projects are underway.
Please check the SOPHIANS NOW issue that was sent out at the end of
Golden Week and the ASF website so you can participate in as much as
possible.
Whether you come alone, with friends or family, the diverse content

【2】【速報】全国代議員会を開催－5/21
　　 [Breaking News] Conference of National Representatives of SUAA Held
　　 May 21st

上智大学ソフィア会は5月21日(土)午後2時半から、上智大学10号館講堂において
2016年春季全国代議員会を開催しました。
代議員会では高祖敏明上智学院理事長、早下隆士上智大学長を来賓として
お招きし、新ソフィアンズクラブ関連予算を含む2016年度の事業計画・予算案
など6つの議案をいずれも原案通り採択。
また、9月24日～25日に開催する地域ソフィア会全国大会（宮城大会）などに
ついて、各担当委員長が報告しました。
代議員会は予定時間をオーバーした午後5時すぎに終了。
続いて、会場を2号館学生食堂に移し、懇親会を行いました。

Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) held its 2016 Spring
Conference of National Representatives of SUAA at 14:30 on Saturday,
May 21st in the Auditorium, Building 10 on the Yotsuya Campus.
Chancellor of Sophia School Corporation Toshiaki Koso and Sophia
University President Takashi Hayashita were invited to the Conference
as guests. The budget for the new Sophians Club was among the six agenda
drafts approved for adoption in the 2016 fiscal year business plan and
budget. Additionally, team chairmen reports included the upcoming the
Regional SUAA National Conference, the Miyagi Conference, to be held on
September 24th and 25th.
Lasting longer than expected, the Conference adjourned after 17:00.
A get-together following the Conference was held in the Student
Cafeteria in Building 2.

【3】ソフィア会会員大会のお知らせ－5/29
　　 Announcement: Sophia Alumni Meeting Held May 29th

29日のASF当日には、上智大学主催で例年通り午前10:30から10号館講堂で金祝、
ルビー祝、銀祝、銅祝の式典が行われます。
それに続き、ソフィア会は会員大会を開催します。
ここでソフィア会は、この1年間の会務を報告します。
この会員大会はソフィア会員はだれでも出席いただけます。
ASFに合わせ、この会員大会にもぜひご出席ください。

On May 29th, the day of ASF, Sophia University will sponsor its
customary Gold, Ruby, Silver and Bronze Anniversary Ceremony at 10:30
in the Auditorium, Building 10 on the Yotsuya Campus.
Following the ceremony, SUAA will hold a Sophia Alumni Meeting.
Reports on SUAA work during the past year will be presented at that time.
All SUAA members may attend this meeting. We are hoping for a large
turnout since SUAA members will be on campus for ASF.

【4】法学部が第7回のセミナーを開催－6/16
　　 The 7th Sophia University Law Department Alumni Seminar Held June
　　 16th

法学部同窓会（SLA）は好評のセミナーシリーズの第7回を6月16日（木）に開催
します。
今回のテーマは「認知症患者の事故とその責任」。
増え続ける認知症患者の事故をめぐる法のありかたについて考えます。
講師は伊藤栄寿上智大学法学部准教授。
会場は学内2号館13階の法学部大会議室で、時間は18:30～20:00。
無料でどなたでも参加できます。

Sophia University Law Department Alumni (SLA) will hold its seventh
seminar in the popular seminar series on Thursday, June 16th. The theme
is Accidents Caused by Dementia Patients and Responsibility. Given the
ever increasing number of accidents involving patients with cognitive
impairment, how laws ought to be enforced will be considered. Sophia
University Faculty of Law Associate Professor Hidetoshi Ito will be the
lecturer.
The seminar will be held from 18:30 to 20:00 in the Law Department
Conference Room located on the 13th floor of Building 2 on the Yotsuya
Campus. Everyone is welcome to attend free of charge.
