【1】ソフィアンの女性キャリア、浅見加奈子氏の講演会を開催－5/19
　　 Female Sophian Career Lecture by Kanako Asami Held May 19th

上智大学と上智大学ソフィア会、ソフィア経済人倶楽部が共催し、法学部同窓会
と経済学部同窓会(経鷲会)が後援して、日本郵便の唯一の女性執行役員である
浅見加奈子氏の講演会を、5月19日（木）18:00から四谷キャンパス2号館17階
国際会議場で開催します。テーマは「郵政事業の現状と課題」。
浅見氏は1988年に上智大学法学部法律学科を卒業。国家公務員上級試験を突破
して旧郵政省に入省し、現在は日本郵便株式会社で最年少女性執行役員として
郵便事業における各種企画制作に携わっています。
当日は、民営化と上場を経た郵政事業の今について解説をしていただきます。
特に、公務員を目指す現役学生にとっては国家公務員試験対策や任官後の貴重な
経験など、先輩から直接アドバイスをもらえるチャンスです。

University Faculty of Economics Alumni Association support, Sophia
University, Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) and Sophia
Business Club (SBC) will co-sponsor a Female Sophian Career Lecture by
Kanako Asami, Japan Post's sole female Executive Officer, on Thursday,
May 19th at 18:00 in the International Conference Room on the 17th
floor of Building 2 on the Yotsuya Campus. The theme is Japan Post
Privatization: Existing State and Issues.
Kanako Asami graduated from the Sophia University Faculty of Law,
Department of Law in 1988. After passing the advanced-level Civil
Service Examination, she joined the former Ministry of Posts and
Telecommunications (as of 2001, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and
Communications). Currently the youngest female to serve as an Executive
Officer in the Japan Post Company, Ltd, Ms Asami is involved in a wide
range of postal service development. Commentary will examine Japan Post
subsequent to its having undergone the privatization and listing
process. In particular, her personal Civil Service Examination and
Ministry experiences allow her to offer valuable advice to current
students aspiring to become civil servants.

　　 ASF 2016 Official Website Launch

ソフィア会が公式行事として5月29日（日）に開催するホームカミングデイ
「オールソフィアンズフェスティバル（ASF）」の情報について、4月25日（月）
に公式Webサイトが公開されます。
サイトでは、メインゲスト情報、各企画の内容、企画の申し込み開始時期の情報
などが一斉にリリース。参加人数に上限がある企画もありますので、ぜひ
タイミングを合わせてご覧ください。
また、先行してASFのTwitter公式アカウント（@sophia_asf）では、4月18日
（月）から随時情報が公開されていますので、フォローやリツィートにご協力
ください。
同時に、5月のゴールデンウィーク明けには、ASFの情報が掲載された
「SOPHIANS　NOW」がみなさまのお手元に郵送される予定ですのでお見逃しなく。

A website providing information on ASF 2016, the official SUAA
homecoming day, held Sunday, May 29th will be launched on Monday, April
25th.
Posts released on the site at the same time will include information
about the main guests, details on various plans, and how to initiate a
plan proposal. Take care in scheduling your day since the number of
participants allowed for some events is limited.
Please note that the ASF Twitter account began posting information on
Monday, April 18th, before the website launch. Please follow ASF on
Twitter.
At the same time, the SOPHIANS NOW issue to be delivered to you by mail
at the end of Golden Week will include ASF information. Don't miss it.

【3】「オリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会」が始動
　　 Olympics/Paralympics Ad Hoc Committee Activity Begins

ソフィア会は、東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会組織委員会と連携
協定を締結した上智大学の事業を支援し、社会貢献・会員交流事業としてオリ・
パラ支援活動を促進するため「オリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会」
を設立しました。
同委員会は、「ラグビーワールドカップ2019」と「関西ワールドマスターズ
ゲームズ2021」についても、地域ソフィア会などに支援を呼びかけ、活動を進め
ていく予定です。
そこで同委員会は、今後の委員会の活動に関する情報の送付を希望される情報
会員の募集を開始しました。

Sophia University has entered into a partnership agreement with TOKYO
2020 Organizing Committee. The SUAA Olympics/Paralympics Ad Hoc
Committee has been formed to offer philanthropic and member
communication support for Olympics/Paralympics activities. This Ad Hoc
Committee also plans to support regional alumni groups assisting with
the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the Kansai World Masters Games 2021.
To this end, the Ad Hoc Committee is seeking members who wish to
receive committee activity news and announcements.
