【1】ASF2016　グループ集会の申込みがはじまりました
　　 Applications for ASF 2016 Group Gatherings Now Accepted

ソフィア会は今年も例年通り、5月最終日曜日の29日に「オールソフィアンの
集い（ASF）2016」を開催します。
すでに、学部・学科同窓会や各種・地域ソフィア会など各グループ集会を行う
教室や体育館、グラウンドの申込みもスタートしました。
今年も8号館と9号館が使えませんので、申込みが殺到することも予想されます。
申込みはお早めに。締め切りは2月末です。
また、このASF2016の実行委員のほか、金祝、ルビー祝、銀祝、銅祝でも実行
委員の募集をしています。ふるってご参加ください。

Sophia University Alumni Association (SUAA) will hold its traditional
All Sophians' Festival (ASF) on the last Sunday in May, which falls on
the 29th this year.
Applications to reserve classrooms, gyms and grounds for gatherings
have already been accepted from Department and Faculty SUAA groups, as
well as from other various and regional SUAA groups and the like.
A rush of applications is expected since this year neither Buildings
No. 8 nor No. 9 may be used. The deadline is at the end of February.
Independently from the ASF 2016 Executive Committee, members are wanted
to serve on Gold, Ruby, Silver and Bronze Anniversary Executive
Committees. Please come join us.

【2】ドイル先生の顕彰記念祝賀会を開催－1/27
　　 Celebratory Tribute Honoring Professor Emeritus Donal Doyle Held
　　 January 27th

1月27日（水）午後6時半から、スクワール麹町において「ドナル・ドイル先生の
顕彰記念祝賀会」が行われました。
上智大学名誉教授で上智大学ソフィア会副会長でもあるドナル・ドイル先生が
アイルランドのマイケル・ヒギンズ大統領から大統領顕彰を受章されたことを
お祝いして開催したものです。先生のお人柄を示すように当日はソフィア会員を
中心に約200名が参加しました。

A Celebratory Tribute Honoring Professor Emeritus Donal Doyle was held
at 18:30 on Wednesday, January 27th at Square Kojimachi.
The gathering was to pay tribute to Donal Doyle, Sophia University
professor emeritus and SUAA vice-president, who received the
Presidential Distinguished Service Award from Irish President Michael
Higgins. Befitting Professor Doyle's personality, approximately 200
people attended the event. A great number of the participants were SUAA
members.

【3】ASC2015の動画をアップしました
　　 ASC 2015 Video Posted on the SUAA Website

ソフィア会の公式行事で、昨年12月4日に開催した第8回「オールソフィアンの
クリスマス（ASC2015）」の動画をソフィア会Webサイトにアップしました。
この動画は、毎年上智大学放送研究会に依頼して制作しているもので、
ASC当日の記念ミサからメインストリートでの点灯式、キャンドルサービス、
そして9号館地下カフェでのパーティまでの様子が収められています。
参加できなかった方も、この動画で当日の様子をご覧いただけます。

A video taken at the 8th All Sophians' Christmas (ASC 2015), an official
SUAA event, held on December 4th of last year has been posted on the
SUAA website.
Produced each year by the Sophia Broadcasting Circle, this video
includes ASC scenes of the memorial Mass, main street illumination
light-up ceremony, candle service, and the party in the Cafeteria in
the basement of Building No. 9. Those of you who were unable to attend
may also experience the day's events by watching this video.
