【1】全国代議員会では藤崎一郎先生の特別講演も

　　 Conference of National Representatives of the Sophia Alumni
　　 Association

上智大学ソフィア会は10月24日（土）午後2時30分から、学内10号館講堂で秋季
全国代議員会を開催します。この代議員会はソフィア会の最高意思決定機関。
新規代議員や新規登録団体の承認、会則の改定など重要議案を審議いただきます。
また、3時30分からは上智大学国際関係研究所の代表で日米協会会長、前駐米
大使の藤崎一郎氏の特別講演も予定しています。

The Sophia University Alumni Association will hold the Autumn Conference
of National Representatives of Sophia Alumni Association on Saturday,
October 24th at 14:30, in the Auditorium in Building 10 on the Yotsuya
Campus. This Representatives Conference is the highest decision-making
body. New delegates will be approved, new organizations will be
registered, and important proposals such as revisions to the Association
Regulations will be discussed.
A Special Lecture by Ichiro Fujisaki, representative of the Sophia
Institute of International Relations, President of The America-Japan
Society in Japan, and former Japanese Ambassador to the United States,
is scheduled to begin at 15:30.

【2】上智大学祖師谷文化祭で日本語スピーチコンテストなどを開催－11/8
　　 Sophia Soshigaya Festival to Include Japanese Speech Contest on
　　 November 8th

11月8日、上智大学直営の国際寮である上智大学祖師谷国際交流会館において
トライアングルフェスタ2015「上智大学祖師谷文化祭」が開催されますが、
ここでソフィア会はいくつかのイベントを開催します。
そのひとつはソフィア会と金祝燦燦会共催の、留学生が日本語で行う「日本語
スピーチコンテスト」。またソフィア会の国際委員会は、卒業生の噺家による
日本語・英語による「オールソフィアン寄席」を企画しています。
上智大学祖師谷文化祭は、会館生が地域住民の方々と連携し、国際理解と文化
交流の発展を図る目的で2013年度より行われています。

During the 2015 Triangle Festival on November 8th, some Sophia Alumni
Association events will be part of the Sophia Soshigaya Festival held
at the Sophia Soshigaya International House, a dormitory managed by
Sophia University for foreign and Japanese students.
One of those, a Japanese Language Speech Contest in which exchange
students present speeches in Japanese, is jointly sponsored by the
Sophia Alumni Association and the Sophia University Kinshuku-Sansan-Kai.
The Sophia Alumni Association International Committee is also organizing
an All Sophian Vaudeville Theater where graduates will perform comic
rakugo stories in Japanese or English.
Held since 2013, the Sophia Soshigaya Festival is an opportunity for
International House residents and the local community to cooperate in
developing international understanding and cultural exchange.

【3】広島大会の高祖理事長講演内容を詳報
　　 Specific Information on Chancellor Toshiaki Koso's Hiroshima
　　 Conference Lecture

10月3日（土）に広島市で開催された第7回地域ソフィア会全国大会「2015広島
大会」において、高祖敏明理事長が「被爆70周年、私にとって広島とは」を
テーマに講演されました。
講演では広島と上智大学やイエズス会の関係が戦前にさかのぼって紹介され、
特に被爆後と復興にイエズス会神父たちが奔走した姿が浮き彫りにされました。

On Saturday, October 3rd at the Seventh Regional Sophia Alumni
Association National Conference (2015 Hiroshima Conference) held in
Hiroshima, Chancellor Toshiaki Koso gave a lecture on Seventy Years
after the Bombing, What Hiroshima Means to Me.
The lecture covered pre-war relationships between Hiroshima, Sophia
University, and the Jesuits, emphasizing how Jesuit priests engaged in
post-bombing reconstruction and relief efforts. The content is available

【4】ジャーナリスト松本方哉氏の講演会を開催
　　 Journalist Masaya Matsumoto Lecture Held

フジテレビ報道キャスター・解説委員である松本方哉さん（文英卒）の講演会
「海外特派員から介護ジャーナリズムまで」が、10月9日（金）、学内2号館17階
国際会議場で開催されました。
講演会では、勉学に勤しんだ学生時代から国際情勢、安全保障を専門の海外
特派員、「ニュースJAPAN」のキャスター、そして突然襲った家庭内テロまでを
語っています。

Fuji TV newscaster and commentator Masaya Matsumoto, a Department of
English Literature graduate presented a lecture on Friday, October 9th
entitled 'From Overseas Correspondent to Caregiving Journalism' in the
17th floor International Conference Hall in Building 2 on the Yotsuya
Campus.
During his lecture he spoke about working hard in his pursuit of
knowledge as a university student, specializing in international affairs
and security assurance as a foreign correspondent, being a News Japan
caster, and the subsequent sudden terror that came down on his family.
