【1】上智大学建学の精神を学ぶ「ラオス・カンボジアの旅」開催報告-8/6～12
　　 Report on the Sophia University Founding Spirit Tour in Laos and
　　 Cambodia Held August 6th through 12th

石澤良昭先生（元学長）のご案内による本学建学の精神を学ぶ旅の第3回ツアー
が、8月6日～12日に総勢28名の参加者にて実施されました。
旅の前半のラオスでは、首都ビエンチャン市内の黄金の仏塔ほか主な寺院を見学。
8月9日には、アジア人材養成研究センターにてエック・ブンタ会長ほか政府の要
人となった数名のカンボジアン・ソフィアンや現役学生たちも参加して、
第3回カンボジア・ソフィア会総会を開催しました。

Former President of Sophia University, Professor Yoshiaki Ishizawa led
28 participants on the Third Sophia University Founding Spirit Tour
between August 6th and 12th.
During the first part of the tour they visited major temples including
the Great Stupa, Pha That Luang Temple, in the Laos capital of Vientiane.
On August 9th they joined Chairman EK Buntha and several other Cambodian
Sophians who are government officials, as well as current students to
participate in the Third Cambodia Sophia Alumni Association General
Meeting held at the Sophia Asian Center for Research and Development.

　　 Please Rush to Register for the Hiroshima Conference

地域ソフィア会全国大会「2015広島大会」が10月3日、4日の両日、広島市のホテ
ルグランヴィア広島（JR広島駅直結）などで開催されます。
年に1度、全国、全世界からソフィアンが集い、さまざまな情報を交換するこの
大会も、今年第7回を迎えます。
開催は10月ですが、申し込み締め切りは9月5日（土）まで。あまり時間がありま
せん。まだ申し込みを済ませていない方は、下記のURLをクリックしてください。

The Regional Sophia University Alumni Association National Conference
(Hiroshima Conference) will be held on October 3rd and 4th for the most
part at the Hotel Granvia Hiroshima which is directly connected to JR
Hiroshima Station.
Sophians throughout the nation and around the globe gathering for this
seventh annual event will find it to be an excellent opportunity to
exchange information.
Although this event will be held in October, the registration deadline
is Saturday, September 5th. There isn't much time left.

【3】グリークラブOB合唱団がピタウ先生追悼演奏会－9/13
　　 Glee Club Alumni Choir to Hold a Memorial Concert for Father Pittau
　　 -to be Held on Sunday, September 13th

上智大学グリークラブOB合唱団は、昨年末に帰天された元学長、ヨゼフ・ピタウ
先生の追悼演奏会を9月13日午後2時、杉並公会堂（JR・東京メトロ荻窪駅下車）
で開きます。
「CONCERT2015～EE. DD. Joseph Pittau, S. J.Memorial」と題した演奏会は、
団創設2回目となる単独の演奏会。
宗教曲5曲を演奏する最初のステージ「sophians' Five Prayers」を追悼ステージ
として、天へ向け祈りを捧げます。

The Sophia University Glee Club Alumni Choir will hold a concert at
14:00 on Sunday, September 13th in tribute to Archbishop Joseph Pittau,
former President of Sophia University who passed away last year, at
14:00 on September 13th in the Suginami Koukaidou (near JR / Tokyo
Metro Ogikubo Station).
The concert, entitled CONCERT 2015 - EE. DD. Joseph Pittau, S. J.
Memorial, will be the group's second independent performance.
The first five religious pieces in the concert, Sophians' Five Prayers,
are a prayerful tribute to Father Pittau in heaven.

【4】父路門フランソワ先生追悼ミサを開催－8/9
　　 A Memorial Mass for Professor Francois de Fromont was held on
　　 August 9th

昨年8月9日に帰天されたフランス文学科名誉教授の父路門フランソワ先生の追悼
ミサが、ハビエル・ガラルダ先生司式で、命日に執り行われました。
当日は、フランス文学科同窓生を中心に、父路門先生といろいろなつながりを
持った方々で、イグナチオ教会マリア聖堂が埋まりました。

On August 9th, Fr. Javier Garralda officiated at the first anniversary
Memorial Mass for Emeritus Professor Francois de Fromont of the
Department of French Literature.
Our Lady's Chapel at St. Ignatius Church was filled with members of the
Department of French Literature Alumni Association and others connected
with Professor de Fromont.
