【1】直前レポート 今年の全国大会も200名超が参加へ
　　 Last Minute Report: Over 200 to Participate Again in This Year's National Conference

明日、29日（土）から香川県高松市のかがわ国際会議場などで、四国で初めての
ソフィア会全国大会「2018香川大会」が開催されます。
記念講演は石澤良昭元学長による「ラモン・マグサイサイ賞に輝くソフィア・
ミッション－アジアの現場で人材養成」。
それに先立ち、情報交換会「四国各県ソフィア会と大学・ソフィア会の連携に
ついて」が行われます。
参加者はすでに200名に達しており、今回も全国、全世界のソフィアンによる
年に1度の交流が行われます。

Beginning tomorrow, Saturday, September 29th, the Sophia University Alumni
Association (SUAA) National Conference, the 2018 Kagawa Conference,
will be held for the first time on Shikoku, primarily at the Kagawa International Hall
in Takamatsu, Kagawa prefecture.
Former Sophia University President Yoshiaki Ishizawa will present a commemorative
speech entitled 'Sophia's Ramon Magsaysay Prize-winning Mission: Local Human
Resource Development in Asia'. Prior to that, an Information Exchange on 'Regarding
Shikoku Prefectural Branch SUAAs-University and SUAA Coordination' will be held.
With the number of participants has already reached 200, and again this year, discussions
among Sophians from Japan and around the world will take place at this annual event.

【2】秋季全国代議員会を開催します－10/20
　　 Autumn Conference of National Representatives of SUAA Held on October 20th

ソフィア会は10月20日（土）14:30から、四谷キャンパス6号館101教室で2018年
秋季全国代議員会を開催します。
当日は佐久間勤上智学院理事長、曄道佳明上智大学長を来賓としてお迎えし、
戸川宏一ソフィア会会長による活動報告や各種議題の審議などを行います。
また、オリンピック・パラリンピック支援特別委員会などが活動報告をします。
議事終了後、17:00から2号館5階の学生食堂において懇親会を行います。
代議員の方はぜひご出席ください。
またソフィア会員は、代議員でなくても傍聴できます。

SUAA will hold the 2018 Autumn Conference of National Representatives of SUAA
on Saturday, October 20th, at 14:30 in classroom 101 in Building 6 on the Yotsuya Campus.
On the 20th, Sophia School Corporation Chancellor Tsutomu Sakuma and Sophia
University President Yoshiaki Terumichi will be welcomed as our guests.
SUAA President Koichi Togawa will report on activities and agenda items will be deliberated.
The SUAA Olympics/Paralympics Ad Hoc Committee will also report on its activities.
Following the meeting, a social get-together will be held at 17: 00 in the Student Cafeteria
on the 5th floor of Building 2. Representatives, please plan to attend.
Even if not delegates, all members are welcome to attend as observers.

【3】晴天のソフィアンズカップに141名が参加－9/6
　　 Fine Weather for 141 Sophians' Cup Participants on September 6th

ソフィア会は9月6日（木）、公式行事として第23回目をむかえるソフィアンズ
カップゴルフ大会を箱根カントリー倶楽部で開催、141名のソフィアンが参加
しました。
昨年は突然の雷雨で中断を余儀なくされたこの大会ですが、今年は台風一過の
すがすがしい天気に恵まれ、和気あいあいのプレーが展開されました。
また、チャリティでの収益金14万6,500円をSOPHIA未来募金として上智学院に
寄付しました。

SUAA held its official 23rd Sophians' Cup Golf Tournament on Thursday,
September 6th at the Hakone Country Club in which 141 Sophians participated.
Although last year a sudden thunderstorm forced competition to be suspended,
this year the event was blessed with refreshing post-typhoon weather and rounds
were played out enjoyably. In addition, a charitable donation of 146,500 yen was
made to the Sophia School Corporation Sophia Fund for the Future
