ソフィア会最大のイベント「オールソフィアンの集い（ASF）」。いよいよ、
開催が明後日と迫ってきました。
今年も、四谷キャンパスの教室や体育館、グランド、SJガーデン、メイン
ストリートのテント、そしてその特設ステージなどすべてを使って、過去最大
規模でのイベントが繰り広げられます。
もはや母校に何のつながりもなくなったと思っている方でも、必ず参加できる
講演会やさまざまなイベントが企画されています。学部学科の同窓会では懐か
しい恩師や仲間が待っています。
ぜひ、27日は母校へ。きっと新しい世界が見つかります。

The All Sophians' Festival (ASF) is the largest Sophia University Alumni
Association (SUAA) event. It will at last be held day after tomorrow.
This year again, the classrooms, gymnasiums, athletic grounds, SJ
Garden, Main Street tents, and special stage on the Yotsuya Campus will
all be put to use in the largest event to ever be held.
We have planned lectures and a variety of events that will appeal even
to those who feel they have already lost their alma mater connection.
Faculty and Departmental alumni gatherings and classmates will be
waiting to bring back fond memories. By all means come visit your alma
mater on the 27th. You are sure to discover a new world.

【2】2018年度春季全国代議員会を開催－2018年度予算などを可決
　　 The 2018 Spring Conference of National Representatives of SUAA Held
　　 - 2018-19 Budget Among Items Approved

ソフィア会は5月19日（土）14:30から、6号館101教室で2018年度の春季全国
代議員会を開催しました。
上智学院の佐久間勤理事長、上智大学の曄道佳明学長が来賓として出席される中、
戸川宏一ソフィア会会長の活動報告で代議員会がスタート。
新規代議員、新規登録団体の承認に続き、2017年度の事業報告・決算報告・
監査報告、また2018年度の事業計画と予算について審議、質疑の後いずれも原案
通り可決されました。
つづいて、第3回アジアソフィア会（カンボジア大会）などの開催報告、顕彰
候補者の推薦についての要請などが行われ、議事終了後には2号館学生食堂で
懇親会を開催、退任された高祖敏明前理事長への感謝セレモニーを行いました。

The 2018 Spring Conference of National Representatives of SUAA was held
at 14:30 on Saturday, May 19th in classroom 101 in Building 6 (Sophia
Tower) on the Yotsuya Campus. Guests including Sophia School Corporation
Chancellor Tsutomu Sakuma, Sophia University President Yoshiaki
Terumichi listened to SUAA President Koichi Togawa report on activities
at the beginning of the Conference.
After the new Representative Assembly members and registered
organizations were approved, the 2017-18 business report, financial
statement and audit report, as well as the 2018-19 business plan and
budget were questioned, discussed and approved as drafted.
Subsequent reports on holding the 3rd Asian SUAA Conference (the
Cambodian Conference) and the like were followed by calls for
Outstanding Service Candidate nominations and the like, and a
post-conference social gathering was held in the Student Cafeteria in
Building 2 during which a gratitude ceremony for former Sophia School
Corporation Chancellor Toshiaki Koso was held.

【3】元リトアニア大使白石和子さん講演会を開催－6/28
　　 Former Ambassador to Lithuania Kazuko Shiraishi Lecture Held on
　　 June 28th

ソフィア会と上智大学は6月28日（木）18:00から学内2号館17階1701会議室で、
元リトアニア大使の白石和子さん（1974外露）の講演会「翔びたとう、女性
たち」を行います。
外交官として、また女性・人権人道、北極担当全権大使として世界を股にかけて
活躍してこられた白石さんの幅広い知見に触れることができます。

SUAA and Sophia University will host a lecture entitled "Women, Let's
Soar" presented by Former Ambassador to Lithuania Kazuko Shiraishi
(1974, Faculty of Foreign Studies, Department of Russian Studies) on
Thursday, June 28th at 18:00 in Conference Room 1701 on the 17th floor
of Building 2 on the Yotsuya Campus.
We will learn about some of the extensive expertise Ambassador Shiraishi
has gained as a diplomat traversing the globe and as Ambassador
Plenipotentiary for Women, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs and
Ambassador Plenipotentiary in charge of Arctic Affairs.
